1. Roomba iRobot i3+ from iRobot EVO

The i3+ EVO is identical to its sibling, the i3 EVO. They differ only in that the i3+ comes with self-emptying capabilities. This makes the i3+ a good option for those who want an automated, hands-free cleaning experience but don't mind having to empty their dust bin manually when it is full.

Both robots are adept in removing dirt and dust particles on carpets and hard floors and can maneuver around furniture and other obstacles. iAdapt navigation software creates smart maps of your home to aid the i3+ in its navigation and clean efficiently. However unlike the i7+ and other top-rated robots we test, the i3+ doesn't have obstacle-avoidance capabilities and therefore it could get stuck on things such as power cords or socks, and it may have trouble traversing transitions across surfaces like hardwood to rug.

iRobot recommends you clear out areas that the i3+ EVO will vacuum before you use it, and include clearing out any clutter or toys it may encounter. It is also recommended to keep the dustbin and filters clear to avoid getting blocked. When the i3+ EVO's internal bin is empty or the battery is depleted, it returns to the docking station and empties the dirt into the station's external dustbin. Then it continues cleaning from where it began. The battery's life span is approximately an hour and a half of constant use. It takes three hours to fully charge.

The iRobot i7+ is an excellent model from iRobot's flagship line and is packed with the most recent features. It's self-charging, self-navigating and the most crucial feature of all -- it comes with an auto-emptying dustbin, which eliminates one of the most important sources of maintenance for any robot vacuum.

The Roomba i7+ can keep up to 10 floor plans and their names thanks to Imprint Smart Mapping, a system that allows it to map rooms so it can clean them more efficiently. It also integrates with the iRobot Home app to let you schedule cleaning jobs and control your robot using voice or through the app.

The i7+ is quicker and more maneuverable in our tests compared to the eufy RoboVac G30. It also removed large pet hair pieces from all surfaces including carpeting. The biggest advantage over the Eufy is its self-emptying garbage bin that removes major maintenance sources and reduces the cost of maintenance.

We were also amazed by the i7+'s compatibility Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant AI services, which we used to instruct the robot to start, stop or pause its cleaning session and to move around the room, and even vacuum the area. The process of connecting the i7+ to these services was easy and straightforward using the iRobot Home app. After being connected, to give voice commands to the i7+, like "Hey Alexa vacuum the master bedroom." The iRobot Home app also provides options for managing the i7+'s settings and monitoring its performance.

3. Dyson Cyclone V10

It's powerful and has features to replace a stand-up vacuum in most households however, it can also fit nicely on the coffee table or a bookshelf where you can move it around like the magic device.

Samsung is a well-known brand in the field of home electronics. It's no surprise that they are one of the top makers of robot vacuums and mop. Their Jet Bot AI+ is equipped with cutting-edge onboard technology for navigation and obstacles avoidance.
