The S1 Pro is an incredibly powerful machine that can mop and vacuum well. The mops spin at a high rate and employ 2.2 pounds (1kg of force) to get rid of pet hair, dirt and sticky dried spills. The vacuum cleaner has four power settings, as well as a selection of brushes and attachments as well as an intuitive app that lets you select the type of cleaning you want for each room.

For instance, you can request the robot to clean the kitchen and living room thoroughly, but leave the bedroom in its own space. The S1 Pro has excellent front collision sensors and smart navigation technology. It is able to recognize small obstacles that other models can't. The only issue it has is that it can hit objects and walls at full speed. However, a quick glance at the cleaning history in the app will tell you exactly what it's doing and where it's headed and what obstacles it's avoided.

The docking station comes with a handy LCD screen that displays the need for maintenance, such as emptying debris and washing the dirty water tank. It can also mix detergent automatically into the water tank, with a 600ml bottle of Eufy's own solution.

Both the S1 Pro mop and vacuum come with a long-running time. The mop can operate for 184 mins in Quiet Mode, and the vacuum can last 136 mins in normal mode, before needing to recharge or returning back to the base. The app is simple to use and intuitive and lets you look at every aspect of the cleaning.

2. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra

The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra, the most recent version of Roborock's most popular best robot hoover mop and vacuum, is the newest version. The model of this year features a double agitator built into its mopping pad. This increases the cleaning capabilities of carpets with this model. The S8 Pro Ultra has an enhanced suction power which allows it to pull up finer hairs and other debris other robotic cleaners could miss.

The Roborock model, just like the other two I tested, has infrared and reactive 3D obstacle avoidance technology to help it overcome obstacles like furniture, walls and other obstacles. But the S8 Pro Ultra takes things a step further by incorporating a dual camera that can detect objects and determine whether they are a wall or another type of surface. It can then automatically change its path and clean around the objects without a pause.

It's the most expensive model I've tried however it also comes with the most features. Its sleek, angular design is eye catching and only has three buttons that are physically accessible. The power button, which also restarts the cleaning mop button, which doubles up as a child-lock and a home-button that can take the robot to its dock. The hinged lid can be lifted to reveal a 350ml dust bin and 200ml water tank. The water tank is automatically filled and the bin fills up automatically.

The only downside I found in this model was the VibraRise mop pads mount isn't movable. You can replace the mopping cloth if needed, but it's difficult to remove the mount for manual washing. I've noticed that any plush carpet that the robot touches will come into contact with the Velcro-like fastener system on the mount, and that could cause scratches.

The S8 Pro Ultra has a number of smart capabilities which include support for Google Home, Amazon Alexa and Siri. You can set up and manage these via the Roborock app which is also home to its maps and advanced mopping settings. The app allows you to plan cleanings and monitor battery life. However, you'll have to go through a few hoops in order to enable voice control with this model, which is a shame considering the performance of this model.

3. Dreame X40

The Dreame X40 is an industry-leading robot vacuum and mop with outstanding suction power, advanced mowing capabilities, and innovative features. Its innovative design allows for personalized and efficient cleaning, while also saving time.

Users can program the X40 to clean at specific times, adjust suction power and mode, look at floor plans and maps and manage mopping settings. The X40 will also monitor its progress, and alert you when it is finished.

The X40 is easy to maintain and comes with numerous features that make it a great option for busy families. The docking station automatically empty the trash bin into a 3.2 L bin, cleans the mop pads, and refills them with clean water and cleaning solution. It also can detect when the mop pad is overflowing and notify you when it overflows, reducing the need for manual maintenance.

4. L20 Ultra

The L20 Ultra is a high-end robot that's among the most expensive models available and comes with a lot of additional features that distinguish it from. The mops are equipped with a new feature called Smart DuoScrub. This makes use of two mops with high-speed motors to scrub floors more thoroughly than the conventional method, and has an impressive suction power of 7,000Pa. This is more than the Roborock S8 Pro Ultra and Ecovacs Deebots T20 Omni. It can also vacuum up pet hair, small dirt particles, and clean up spills and soiled spots.

The mop is also cleaned and dried inside the base station after each use. This is a fantastic feature as it stops the build-up of odours and mould in the storage area, and it also makes the mop system a lot more efficient. The L20 Ultra has a stylish design with a white-and-metallic finish that looks elegant and elegant.
