World of Warcraft - Item Upgrading

Upgrades to items allow players to boost the gear score of an item upgrade to 700 and add a final perk. Items can be upgraded if they are in your inventory and you decide to take them to the Kiln.

Certain items can be upp'd to increase their stats (like a perfectly made breakpoint armour that can be rolled to use in melee PvP) while others like weapons do not vary greatly post upgrade, and therefore aren't worth upgrading.

Weapons

Upgrades to weapons can increase their numerical stats, like attack damage, crit chance, and PvE/PvP damage. Weapons come with a flat rate bonus that increases damage per second. Many weapons also have a fixed bonus that is activated when three or more identical weapons are used in a group. This bonus could be greater than the damage a weapon upgrade alone can cause.

The cost of upgrading a weapon varies on its rarity as well as its current level. For instance, an upgrade to a +2 weapon requires two regular Smithing Stones while a+3 requires four. The number of stones required to upgrade a weapon will increase until it requires a higher level of Smithing Stones. At that point, it will reset back to one.

Upgrades to weapons also alter the stats of the base. This is usually a positive aspect, but it may also have negative consequences. Upgrades can make items inaccessible, unless you're exceptionally lucky.

Armor items can also be upgraded to improve their effectiveness. This can increase the base defense of a helm or chest, while belts and gloves will increase their required strength and agility. Armor

A few armor upgrades can make the world of difference to your survivability. Certain sets can offer MASSIVE boosts to poison or curse, fire, and magic resistance, making the journey through difficult terrain a breeze. In general, the more defense you have for your character, the greater health you can receive from each point. Therefore, it's a good idea to upgrade your armor.

To upgrade your armor, head to one of the Great Fairy Fountains in the game. There are four in total and each one requires you to complete a unique side-quest involving the Stable Trotters musical troupe. Once you've completed the main quest, and the corresponding fountains, you'll have the option of talking to any Great Fairy in order to unlock the armor upgrade menu.

Each piece of armor can be upgraded up to three levels, and the amount of material and Rupees required to complete each will vary. In general, you'll be looking at anywhere between three Red Chuchu jellies and 10 Rupees for the first upgrade, then anywhere between five Rubies and 10 Fire-Breath Horns for each subsequent one. The Champion Leathers, as an example can be upgraded to a 5 defense rating, which will allow you to stay ahead in frigid conditions with a large number of enemies. The Snowquill Headdress, on the other side, can be upgraded to +20 defense to ensure you can survive a raid with your comrades.

It's important to note that armor cannot be upgraded the same way as weapons, so you'll want to work on enhancing it to increase physical power if you're a Warrior or item upgrades Spell Power if you're Mage. It's also worthwhile to save your armor upgrades for armor you'll wear at the end of the game, such as the Ring of Lightning and Spectral Shield, or the helmet you'll wear for the final boss battle, the Monter Parts Merchant's mask.

You can also unlock some benefits to your armor by presenting the jeweler in Gerudo Town 10 Twinkling Titanite. You'll typically want to keep these upgrades for the weapon you'll be using to beat the game. For instance, the Longsword or Battleaxe. But it's useful to have some upgrades for the armor on your chest and helmets to let you escape some monsters.

Potions

Potions are substances in bottles that, when consumed give the user the illusion of status for a few minutes. There are five types of potions with different effects and durations. Certain potions can be upgraded to enhance their level of effectiveness. You can also enhance the effects of certain potions by adding redstone dust and glowstone dust.

Potion upgrades require a certain amount of XP. This can be earned by making them on a craft table or by storing them in the Alchemist chest. However, the upgrade price will vary based on the kind of potion you wish to upgrade, as well as on the Best item upgrader's Mark Level as well as its rarity.

To upgrade a potion you need to right-click it in your inventory. Then, select "Upgrade" from the menu. Trinkets

A trinket can be described as a small and inexpensive ornament or piece of jewelry. It could also refer to a small ornament or object that has a purpose but is not important, like a trinket. In some cultures, trinkets are used to signify affection or friendship, specifically between family members.

In addition to armor, weapons, and potions, players can upgrade their trinkets. These can be upgraded by going to an upgrade vendor and paying the appropriate currency. Unlike other item upgrades (please click for source) trinkets, trinkets can be traded out at any time without losing their stats.

Upgrade vendors can be found at the capitals of each zone and in some cases in dungeons. Upgrades for trinkets can be bought with tokens, gold or fragments of rare trinkets.

The upgrade of a trinket can be an affordable alternative to buying a new one. It can be done by the player for less than 12 tokens. The new trinket will have the same base ilvl as old one, and will include an additional upgrade bonus of 1.

When the old Trinkets are no longer useful they can be upgraded. This allows players to increase their power and value over time. They can be traded between players which makes them a good alternative to gold.

In general, players should upgrade their highest priority items first. This means that the top-in slot items for each class are first upgraded before their secondary gear, and then other equipment that they won't be replacing in the near future (such as a ring or an cloak). Players should also take into consideration their class's preferred stats when choosing which items to upgrade. For instance If Haste and Crit are the two most important stats for tankers, they should be focusing on upgrading their helm, chest shoulders, belt, and helm.

Trinkets can be re-upgraded to a higher level once they're no longer needed and the new trinket will receive an additional upgrade bonus of 1. A re-upgrade, however, can cause damage to the trinket unless it can be salvaged with the help of a Black Lion Salvage Kit, or a salvage tool. Upgrades to trinkets are more expensive than other upgrades, but still less expensive than purchasing new ones.
