This isn't a necessary feature for most expensive robot vacuum people, but it's one that will aid in keeping the track of your robot's maintenance intervals effortlessly.

3. Narwal Freo X Ultra

The Freo X Ultra is a well-rounded robot mop and vacuum that's incredibly smart in both its vacuuming and mopping capabilities. Its design is one of the most innovative in the market, but it's expensive.

The base station is attractive and is easily hidden when not in use, and the dimensions are quite small. The station's most appealing factor is its ability to automate various tasks and functions that most other robots will leave to you. It can store clean and dirty water, and then electrolyze and heat the water. Many other robots require this.

Its vacuuming performance is quite impressive, too. It's the only robot vacuum I've tried that does a good robot vacuum job picking up debris from bare floors. It's also not as loud as the more expensive Roomba 900 series or iRobot 980.

However, the Freo X Ultra has its flaws, particularly in terms of navigation. Its laser and LiDAR sensors aren't as reliable as other robovacs, meaning it is sometimes stuck or confused in certain areas of the home. It's also unable to climb stairs like other competitors and doesn't come with a dock that can create a cleaning area for carpets with plush padding.

The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a great option for those looking for an automated vacuum that can do everything.

However, if you're looking to save money or simply don't care about the limitations of this machine, there are plenty of other options available with a wide range of eufy models priced considerably less. The Eufy Qrevo Curv, for instance, is cheaper and offers an identical experience on the app with more features, including stairs, a fully-function dock, and superior overall performance when vacuuming floors as well as high- and low-pile carpets.
