The power button, which also resumes the cleaning mop function, a button for cleaning that doubles as a child lock and a home button to take the robot vacuums that mop to its dock. The hinged lid opens up to reveal a 350ml dustbin as well as a 200ml water tank. The water tank will empty itself and the bin auto-refilling.

The only drawback I could find to this model was that the VibraRise mop pads mount isn't removable. You can replace the mopping cloth if required, but it's a challenge to remove the mount for washing manually. I've noticed that any plush carpet that the robot passes will come into contact with the rough Velcro-like fastener mechanism on the mount, and that could cause abrasions.

The S8 Pro Ultra has a variety of smart features that include support for Google Home, Amazon Alexa and Siri. The Roborock app is where you can manage and configure these smart features. It also contains maps and advanced mopping options. The app also lets you to schedule cleanings and monitor the battery life and maintain your components. You'll need to go through a few steps to enable voice control on this model. This is a shame considering how well-performing it is otherwise.

3. Dreame X40

They can also extend up to 2mm of baseboards thanks to the MopExtend feature which is a nice feature.
