Best Robot Vacuum Cleaner and Mop

Robotic vacuum cleaners and mops are the most efficient method of quickly cleaning up messes. The best robot vacuums and mops that I have tested have top-notch mapping and navigation and are able to pick up Cheerios wires, tangled wires and fake dog turds with out leaving them behind.

You can also schedule cleaning tasks with an app and monitor their progress.

1. Roborock S8 maxV Ultra

The Roborock S8 MaxV is the most efficient robot mop and vacuum combination. It comes with the most recent features. This high-end automatic vacuum and mop robot is fast and agile and was able to pick up pet hair and human dander nearly flawlessly in our Debris Pickup Test. It also has a smart-looking app interface with a miniature map of your house and a few on-screen buttons to control the device manually.

Another standout characteristic of the S8 is its ability to alter its cleaning mode according to dirt levels thanks to its Dirt Detection Technology. It will stop and clean its mopping pad more often when it comes across dust, while prioritizing carpeted areas for mopping with a damp pad.

The mop's roller has several other clever features, such as docks that can be connected to your home plumbing system to clean and Automatic Hoover wash it without you having to refill the mop. You can even make use of voice commands using the S8's built-in voice assistant, saying "Hey Rocky" to specify rooms cleaning, modes and granular controls with your voice.

2. Yeedi Cube

The Yeedi Cube offers a variety of options for those looking for a hands free robot vacuum that can also mop. It's one of a variety of robot cleaner vacuums that also include mops however it's priced at a cheaper price than most of the competition.

As with most robovacs the Yeedi Cube also requires some work to get it up and running. This includes setting up an account with the app and connecting the device to your WiFi network. Once that's done the robot is able to begin vacuuming and mopping with ease.

It is important to note that mapping takes a while, and it may take a few tries before the Yeedi Cube has an accurate view of your space. The object detection is also an issue that is hit-and-miss. It was able skirt around furniture and other obstacles, but it was stuck on a rug with tassels that it required a flip to get it out of the way. These are minor flaws and the Yeedi Cube remains a great option for those looking for an appliance that can do all of the above.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete

The Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete delivers a three-in-one home cleaning solution. Its advanced mopping uses an alternating motion that's similar to hand scrubs. This results in floors being cleaned and not just being swept. The detachable vacuum stick is a game changer that can reach areas where robot vacuums cannot.

The model is basically the same as the popular X2 Omni, but with an a bit higher suction capacity of 8700Pa and some additional clever features. The RGBD sensor upgrade is able to learn your home's environment and provide dynamic obstacles avoidance. The smart app lets you adjust a variety of settings such as scheduling, AI cleanings, and setting virtual boundaries.

The X2 Combo is also self-prepping and has both the robot vacuum and the mop returning to their charging station after each task to wash their pads, empty their dust bins and place debris into bags that self-seal. This helps to keep the system tidy and stops allergens from returning to the system. Its battery longevity is sufficient to cover large areas without requiring a recharge mid-clean.

4. Eufy S1 Pro

The Eufy S1 Pro is a top-quality robot vacuum and mop that has impressive features for affordable prices. It features an impressive 8,000 Pa suction, a rotating floor brush for carpets, and a fantastic obstacle avoidance. It also features an innovative mopping technique that uses a roller constantly spraying with water to collect dirt, and then dump it in the water tank.

Its navigation system performed well. It stayed clear of stairs and navigated close to walls without falling. It had trouble with fine particles and didn't always clear the raised thresholds in rooms. Its operating noise level is also relatively high, so it may be less of a "set-and-forget" model than other models.

Like most robotic vacuums and mops the S1 Pro comes with a docking station that lets you refill its clean water as well as empty its dustbin and mop pad, and wash and dry its mop. This makes maintenance easier and lets the S1 Pro spend more time cleaning floors in line with the regular schedule. Eufy's application lets you manage all the functions. It gives an easy overview and a variety of configuration options.

5. Freo X Ultra

The Freo X Ultra is one of the most premium robot mowers available, and offers an impressive mix of mopping and vacuuming performance. Its LIDAR mapping sensor is able to recognize furniture legs and other obstacles with a decent precision. The app allows users to fine-tune map coverage, create zones that are not allowed to enter, and set cleaning preferences. The Freo's main roller brush is also engineered to prevent hair from wrapping around it, which is an issue for many robotic vacuums.

The Mop Mode is impressive too, with Reuleaux triangular mop heads that spin at 180 RPM and apply up to 12N of downward pressure. The mopping system is also equipped with intelligent carpet detection, lifting these pads upward when they're near soft surfaces to prevent contamination of the carpet.

The docking station acts as a hands-free maintenance centre that is able to wash and dry the mops, and refills them with detergent and distilled water. The base station also comes with integrated dust processing that compacts dust over 7 weeks of uninterrupted operation, unlike conventional robot vacuums which empty their dust bins each time they are empty.

6. S10

A few hundred dollars cheaper than the S8, this robot does an excellent job of keeping my office spotless and also take on the corners of my tiny apartment. It uses laser mapping system and camera to create a 3D map of your home, so it knows what to stay clear of. And, unlike many vacuums that have mopping capabilities it also has detection of objects and obstructions that avoids things like bowls and dog toys (but not poop!).

Other fantastic features include a self-emptying dustbin, a mop that is self-washing, adjustable for water temperature and an extended side-reaching brush that is able to reach areas that other mops cannot reach. You can also set your own cleaning schedule in the app and customize settings for every room in your home.

Similar to the S8, it has multi-room smart mapping that can differentiate between laminate, carpets and hardwood rugs with high-pile. It can also skip mopping rooms that are not clean if you want to reduce time. If you have a variety of flooring in your house and don't want to invest additional money for a Roborock that has advanced mapping features it is a great option.

7. Q5 Pro

If you're looking for a versatile robot vacuum and mop that can handle both regular daily maintenance and touch-ups on wet messes, this robot is a great choice. It has a wide range of features like the ability to empty the dustbin on its own, a separate water refill dock, as well as adjustable settings within the app. It's extremely quiet and can maneuver around furniture legs and socks with ease. It's unable to pick up knots in the rug, and its battery drains faster than other models we've test.

With a cost of less than $250 it's the Q5 Pro is a bargain-friendly machine that packs a lot of suction and a handy automation into a sleek design. It didn't do as well in our vacuuming and mopping tests as the pricier Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra, but it still did extremely well overall. It also offers a selection of cleaning options to meet your needs, Best Robot Vacuum Cleaner and Mop from the low-power 'Quiet' option for debris that is light to the more powerful 'Turbo' option for rooms with carpet. It also has the capability to remove and reconnect mop pads, without getting your carpets wet.

8. K10 Plus

The K10 Plus is a great robot vacuum and mop for people who live in tiny areas. It's quiet and quick and does a great job of maneuvering around tight spaces. It also does a very good job of removing pet hair out of carpeting.

It's smaller than many of its competitors however it doesn't compromise features. It has a decent amount of suction power, and it is able to take a picture of each object it comes across (i.e., chew toys, socks) and mark them as 'not found in the app, so that they aren't removed during subsequent cleanings. Its photos are encrypted, and not tied to you account.

It does a fantastic job of vaccuming but isn't quite as efficient at mopping. It makes use of disposable wipes that are clipped onto the bot's bottom, and then drags them across your floor. Compare this to the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra and Narwhal models, which come with water reservoirs that automatically wash and reattach their mopheads.
