Like its predecessor j9+, the new model uses the iRobot's PrecisionVision navigation technology and a camera to detect obstacles within your home. This allows the robot to navigate and avoid cords, furniture wires, shoes, and even pet poop (which it can recognize because of iRobot's renowned P.O.O.P promise).
