The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is an excellent option for those looking for an affordable robot vacuum and mop. It's a great mopping performance but lacks some of the advanced features of its more expensive counterpart.

During testing, it was able remove pet hair and dry oats out of carpets with a medium pile. It doesn't use LIDAR however, as other models do to locate your home.

1. IRobot Roomba S9+

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the most highly-rated ilife robot vacuum vacuums. It offers impressive cleaning power and a variety of features, including an automatic dirt bin built into its charging base. The robot also learns your habits of cleaning and suggest automatic schedules to ensure you have a hands-free experience.

The iRobot Home App guides you through the process of setting up. Once the system is set up, you can start automatic cleaning with a single button press. You can opt for an overall clean that focuses on the removal of large debris such as cereal and rice or two thorough maps of your space to ensure that your entire home has a clean and tidy appearance.

This robot vacuum performs well both on bare floors and carpets with low pile. It is able to take large objects and doesn't lose suction as rapidly as other models do, and it can even clean up pet hair with ease. It's a challenge with carpets that are high-pile or plush, but iRobot says that future models will be more efficient.

The S9+ is a new design by iRobot that focuses on improving the edge and corner cleaning. It's the very first Roomba that uses flat-fronted D-shaped designs. The company hopes this will allow it to be able to hug furniture and walls. It's a nice improvement over the hockey puck-like design of robovacs, but we found it to be incrementally better than circular models.

iRobot claims that the S9+ also features a superior filtration system that blocks tiny particles and allergens from circulating throughout your home. It's a nice premise, however, we're not convinced that it's enough to justify the price cost.

Its smart navigation system employs a combination of sensors to remember the layout of your home and vSLAM technology to map your interior. It then cleans your entire home efficiently by avoiding obstacles such as stairs and other obstacles. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and set virtual boundary markers so that the robot can determine what areas require extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

Roborock Q Revo is a robotic that combines mopping and vacuuming. Its vac settings are as effective as those of higher-end models and its mopping feature is superior, as its spinning pads do a better job of scrubbing floors than a stationary vibrating pad.

It's only downside is the lack of a second brush to allow for deeper cleaning. However, it's not a major issue for those who want to own one of the top robots available. The dust tank on the robovac is bigger than most of its competitors, and filling it up takes only two or three times, even when you've got a lot of dirt.

In terms of the mopping system, I was amazed by its ability to scrub hard dirt off my floors. Its two mopping modes at the lowest, which are less aggressive than the high-powered ones, produce minimal noise, allowing you to work or even watch TV without interruption. If it comes into contact with the wall or a furniture piece it gently smacks into it before moving on.

The Q Revo is unique in that it runs almost completely on its own, with no user involvement. The robo-vac features a multi-function dock that automatically moves physical trash into the bin hidden from view, as well as washes and dry mop pads and replenishes its clean water tank. The app will only alert you when something is wrong, such as low water levels or a cancelled vacuuming session due to a full bin.

You can also create or combine actual rooms to alter the way Q Revo manages your home. This feature is helpful if you have different flooring in different areas of your house or when you have to frequently clear out clutter such as toys, clothes and books. The robo-vac is also very efficient and was among the top performers in my tests, taking debris from carpets as well as hardwoods in its first run. It can even vacuum up wet spills but I would suggest drying them with a cloth before sending the robot in.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni is a premium robot mop and vacuum combo that comes with all the features you can want. It has a rotating mop and a powerful vacuum that can clean carpets and hard floors. It's akin to the iRobot Roomba S9+. It also comes with a self-cleaning base station that automatically empty and cleans the mop pads, ensuring that they remain them clean and ready for use again. It also features a new sensor system that is able to better detects obstacles, Best Robot Vacuum and Mop granting it the ability to prevent falling over furniture or other objects.

The most significant improvement to the ECOVACS The X1 Deebot is the modern, sleeker design. This is due to the Danish company Jacob Jensen Design, best known for their Bang & Olufsen product line. The robot is still big. It is more than two feet in both height and depth, and weighs almost four pounds. However, the robot and its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot J7.

This model is more efficient than the X1 since it charges faster and can clean 1,500 square feet in a single charge. It also comes with a larger and more durable dustbin that can hold more debris. This makes it easier to empty.

Finally it is worth noting that the X2 Omni has a more intuitive app as well as voice assistant that operates offline, so you can use it even if you're not home. It also comes with a smart routing function that allows it to clean specific areas or rooms of your home instead of following a predetermined route.

The Omni X2 Omni has the top mopping performance of any robot we've tested because of its mop pads that rotate to remove tough stains and a motor that generates plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming performance is excellent, and it increases suction when it senses carpets to ensure thorough cleaning. It also has a large battery that can last for several weeks between charges and its mopping mode is as efficient as anything we've seen in an ordinary robot.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a top-quality model that has a range of convenience features not often found on robots in this price range. It has the ability to create precise floor maps, recognize different types of flooring and is among the few that can automatically wash and dry its mop pads. These are nice features but they also push the L10s into the class of luxury. This could make it more expensive than homeowners need.

It is designed to look like a modern floor cleaner The L10s Ultra is a tall and slim machine with an elegant white finish accented by mirror plating and silver elements. The front of the machine is dominated by a huge bumper that helps protect furniture and the vacuum from damage while moving around the home. Behind the pane at the front is an additional navigation technology that is comprised of sensors that aid the L10s Ultra navigate tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top, you'll find one button that basically serves as the on/off switch. This button will turn on the vacuum. By pressing it again, you can turn it off and transmit it to its base station. The central control panel includes a circular menu that lets you choose cleaning modes or schedules, as well as preferences. The left and right buttons will allow you to access the settings in the app, where you can alter the way the L10s Ultra interacts with your home.

Its mops are efficient, clearing 98.4 percent of debris from our tile, wood, and carpet tests. However, it wasn't quite as effective in removing sand from the floor, or quaker oats on the carpet.
