We had the opportunity to test drive the EV9 for a few hours on a local freeway and found it to be a breeze to drive and comfortable for long distances. The EV9 is able to suppress road noise and wind while driving along the highway. It is smooth on ruts and humps. The vehicle's acceleration is surprising quick, and it features adjustable regenerative brakes that allow "one-pedal driving" simply by lifting off the accelerator.

The EV9 has excellent range and can be fully recharged in just three hours at home, or with any commercial charger. Drivers can choose between two operating modes: eco mode and sports mode. The Jacksonville Transit Authority is replacing their older diesel vehicles fleet with 100 electric cars. GreenPower will increase production to meet the demands of the Biden Administration who is planning to electrify all school buses in America.
