The Eufy S1 Pro

This is the model to select if you're looking for an automatic vacuum cleaner and mop vacuum cleaner that can also mop. It's smaller than other models on this list which makes it easier to maneuver in tight corners and under furniture. It has a 220 degree Lidar that, combined with the 3D Matrix Camera System, gives it some of the best automatic vacuum navigation and avoidance capabilities I've seen in a robotic vacuum. It comes with a massive 4600mAh battery that lasts for up to 170-minutes when mopping and suction are set to standard mode (it can last longer in turbo). It will even return to its dock to replenish its battery in mid-clean.

It is very fast and does an excellent job of cleaning my two-bedroom apartment. It can vacuum carpeted rooms fast and hardwood floors in the living room, kitchen and hallways with only one sweep. Its motor of 8,000pa is able to pick up dirt as well as pet hair and even droppings effortlessly. Carpet detection boosts power automatically when it comes into contact with rugs, and the dual side brushes help draw out dirt from corners.

The mopping performance is a little less impressive, though not by much. The mop's rotating mechanism spins fast and uses 2.2lbs to scrub dirt and stains. However should you purchase this vacuum solely to mop, you will need to be aware of this.

The Yiko X1 Omni

The X1 Omni is the most expensive robot vacuum that mops in our review, however it comes with some distinct features that are worth a look. The X1 Omni's biggest draw is its enormous dock that doubles as the robot's charging base and housing for two water tanks, a clean sink as well as an automatic 2.5-liter dust bin that automatically empties.

The base has a few control buttons that allow you to manually start a cleaning task and then recall the robot hoover or run the dock’s auto-emptying procedure. Hold down two buttons to switch off the child lock. This is a nice feature for parents worried about their children playing with the vacuum.

Another issue that could be a problem is the X1 Omni's inability to automatically switch between mopping and vacuuming modes during a cleaning session. You'll need to manually switch between the two modes, which isn't too bad but the mopping pad doesn't get cleaned or dried between use. This could lead to mildew and mold.

The X1 Omni looks great, thanks to the Jacob Jensen design team (of Bang & Olufsen fame) who designed the sleek modern base and mopping pad. It's a significant departure from the utilitarian, all-black bases used by competitors like Roborock and iRobot, and a welcome sight in a space that is dominated by clunky boxy models.
