The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is an excellent option for those looking for a mid-range mop and robot vacuum. It's got a fantastic mopping capabilities, but is lacking certain of the more advanced features that are found in its more expensive counterpart.

In tests, it was able remove pet hair and dry oats out of carpets with a medium-pile. It doesn't use LIDAR, however, as other models do, to identify your home.

The iRobot Roomba S9+ robot vacuum is one of the most highly-rated robots. It offers impressive cleaning power and plenty of features, including a self-emptying dirt compartment built into its charging base. The dyson robot vacuum also learns your habits of cleaning and suggest schedules that are automatic to provide a hands-free and effortless experience.

Setup is easy, thanks to the iRobot Home app that walks you through the process. Once everything is connected, you can begin the automated cleaning process at the click of one button. You can choose the general clean option that focuses on the removal of larger pieces of debris like cereal and rice. Or you can choose two mappings to ensure that your entire home is thoroughly cleaned.

This robot vacuum performs well on floors that are unfinished and carpets with low pile. It can take in large objects and doesn't lose suction as quickly as some other models, and it can even clean up pet hair without difficulty. It's a challenge with carpets that are high-pile or plush however iRobot says that future models will be better.

The S9+ is a new design from iRobot that is focused on enhancing edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt a flat-fronted D-shaped design, which it hopes will allow it to fit into furniture and walls. It's a nice change from the hockey puck-like design of the majority of robovacs. However, we found it to be marginally better than circular models.

iRobot also claims the S9+ comes with an improved filtering system that blocks tiny dust particles and allergens from circulating throughout your home. We like the claim however, it's not enough to justify a premium price.

Its intelligent navigation system makes use of sensors to keep track of the structure of your home, and vSLAM to map the interior of your home. It then cleans your entire house efficiently by avoiding obstacles such as stairs and other barriers. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and also set virtual boundary markers so that the vacuums robot knows the areas that require attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

Roborock Q Revo is a machine that combines mopping and vacuuming. Its vacuum settings are just as effective as those found on more expensive models. The mopping system is superior because its spinning pads scrub floors better than an ordinary pad that vibrates.

The only drawback is the absence of a second brush to allow for more thorough cleaning. But that's not a major issue when you're looking to purchase one of the best robots on the market. The robo-vac's tank for dust is also larger than many of its rivals and takes only two or three cycles to fill it up, even with the maximum dirt level.

For the mopping device, I was amazed by its ability to scrub tough dirt from my floors. The two lowest mopping settings which are less powerful than high-powered modes, produce very little noise, so you can work or even watch television without being distracted. It will gently bump into furniture or walls, and then move on whenever it comes across one.

The Q Revo is unique in that it can run almost completely on its own, with no user involvement. The robo-vac comes with a multi-function dock that automatically moves physical garbage into the hidden bin and washes and dry mop pads and replenishes its clean water tank. The app will only alert you if something is wrong, such as a low clean water tank or a vacuuming session that is cancelled due to an empty bin.

You can also design and merge rooms to modify the way that Q Revo manages your home. This feature is useful when you have different flooring in different areas of your house or in the event that you have to regularly remove clutter, such as toys, clothes, and books. The robot vacuum is also efficient and was among the top performers during my tests, taking debris from both carpets and hardwoods in its first run. It is able to vacuum up wet spills. I suggest drying them with a towel before sending it to.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd want from a high-end robot vacuum and mop combo and small more. It has an omni-rotating mop as well as a powerful vacuum that can clean carpets as well as hard floors. It's akin to the iRobot Roomba S9+. It also comes with an auto-cleaning base station that automatically empty and cleans mop pads, keeping them free of germs and ready to use again. It also comes with a sensor that can detect obstacles better and prevents it from falling on furniture or other objects.

The biggest improvement over the ECOVACS deebot robot vacuum cleaner X1 is that this version has a sleeker, more modern design due to Danish firm Jacob Jensen Design (best known for Bang & Olufsen products). While still quite big--it's over two feet high and deep and weighs nearly four pounds--the robot and its base are less bulky than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot j7.

This model is also more efficient than the X1, as it charges faster and can handle a complete cleaning of about 1,500 square feet with just one charge. It also has a larger and more robust dust bin that can hold more debris. This makes it easier to empty.

The X2 Omni also has a more intuitive voice assistant and an app that is functional even when you're at home. It also has an intelligent routing feature that lets it clean specific rooms or areas of your home, instead of following a set path.

The X2 Omni is the most effective robot for mopping. Its mop pads rotating remove tough stains and its motor produces plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming performance is also top-notch, and it boosts suction when it detects a carpet to ensure a thorough cleaning. It also has a huge battery that can last for weeks between charges and its mopping mode is as powerful as the ones we've seen on a consumer-grade robot.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot mop and vacuum is a high-end model that has a range of convenience features not often found on robots of this price. It can build detailed floor maps, detect various flooring types and is among the few robots that automatically wash and dry the mop pads. Although these features are great however, they also push the L10s Ultra into the category of luxury which could make it slightly more expensive than what some homeowners require.

The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaner. It's slim and tall with a white finish accented with silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine features an enormous bumper that shields the vacuum cleaner and furniture while moving around your home. Sensors are hidden behind the front pane, which help the L10s Ultra navigate around tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top, you'll find one button that serves as the on/off switch. This button will turn on the vacuum. By pressing it again, you can turn it off and send it to its base station. The circular menu located in the middle of the control panel lets you to choose cleaning modes or schedules, as well as preferences. The left and right buttons on the screen will bring up the app's settings menu where you can alter how the L10s Ultra integrates with your home.

Like the iRobot Roomba S9+ and Roborock Q Revo, the L10s Ultra uses a combination of LIDAR and camera-based navigation techniques to help you map out your home. The L10s Ultra is an extremely powerful vacuum cleaner that removes 98.4% debris from our test on hard floors and taking out all but stubborn juice stains. Its mops are also quite efficient, clearing 98.4 percent of debris from our wood, tile and carpet tests. It was not as efficient at removing sand from the hard floor or quaker oats from the carpet.
