The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is a great choice if you're seeking a robot vacuum and mop that is mid-range. It provides a fantastic mopping experience, but doesn't have the features that make up its more expensive sibling.

In tests, it was able to take on dust and dry oats on medium-pile carpet as well as pet hair on hard floors. However, unlike other models, it doesn't utilize LIDAR to help you map your home.

1. IRobot Roomba S9+

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the top robot vacuums. It is loaded with features and incredible cleaning power, including a dirt compartment that is built into the charging base. It doesn't lose its suction as quickly as other robot vacuums. It's not able to work with high-pile carpets or plush carpets, but iRobot claims that future models will be more efficient.

The S9+ is a new design by iRobot that concentrates on improving corner and edge cleaning. It's the very first Roomba that uses a flat-fronted D-shaped design. The company hopes that this will allow it to fit into the furniture and walls. It's an improvement over the hockey puck-shaped robovacs that are standard, but we found it only marginally superior to circular models.

iRobot claims that the S9+ also features an advanced filtration system which blocks tiny particles and allergens from circulating within your home. It's a nice claim however, we're not convinced it's enough to justify the price price.

Its smart navigation system utilizes sensors to keep track of the arrangement of your home and vSLAM for mapping the interior. This allows it to stay clear of obstacles like stairs and other barriers and to tidy up your whole home in the most efficient way possible. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and set virtual boundary markers so that the robot knows the areas that require attention.

When it is about robots that can combine vacuuming and mopping the Roborock Q Revo is a standout. Its vacuum settings are as effective as those on more expensive models and its mopping feature is superior, as its spinning pads do a much better job of cleaning your floors than a stationary vibrating pad.

The only drawback is the lack of a second brush to allow for more thorough cleaning. However, that's not a major issue for those who want to own one of the top robots available. The robo-vac's dust tank also larger than many of its competitors, and it takes just two or three cycles to fill it up, even with the highest dirt level.

As for the mopping device, I was impressed with its ability to scrub off the tough dirt off my floors. Its two mopping modes at the lowest that are less abrasive than the high-powered ones, generate little noise, allowing you to work or even watch TV without interruption. If it comes into contact with the wall or a furniture piece it gently bumps into it and then moves forward.

What makes the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to run nearly completely autonomously, requiring only a little for human intervention. The dock of the robo-vac is multifunctional and will automatically move trash into a hidden bin. It also washes, dries and refills the clean water tank. The app is adept at nagging you only when something needs attention, for example, the clean water tank running low or a scheduled cleaning session being cancelled because of a full dust bin.

You can also create or combine actual rooms in order to customize the way that Q Revo treats your home. This is a great feature if you have multiple areas of the home with different flooring materials or Shark 2 In 1 Robot Vacuum if there's some clutter that needs to be cleaned out frequently, such as toys, clothes, and books. The robot vacuum is also efficient and was one of the top performers in my tests, picking up debris from carpets as well as hardwoods on the first pass. It can even vacuum up wet spills. I recommend drying them with a towel before sending it into.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd expect from a high-end robot vacuum and mop combo and more. Similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+, it comes with a powerful vacuum with a powerful suction to clean carpets and hard floors, plus a rotating mop that scrubs tough stains. It also has an auto-cleaning base station that automatically empties and washes the mop pads, keeping them free of germs and ready to use again. It also has a sensor that detects obstacles more accurately which allows it to avoid falling onto furniture and other objects.

The most significant improvement to the ECOVACS The X1 Deebot is the sleeker, modern design. This is due to the Danish company Jacob Jensen Design, best known for their Bang & Olufsen product line. While still quite big--it's over two feet tall and deep and weighs almost four pounds--the robot and its base are much less bulky than the Roborock Q Revo or irobot vacuum and mop j7.

This model is more efficient than the X1 because it charges more quickly and cleans 1,500 square feet in a single charge. It also has a bigger, more durable dustbin to hold more debris and is easier to empty it when needed.

The X2 Omni also has a more intuitive voice assistant and an app that is functional even if you are not at home. It also comes with a smart routing feature that allows it to clean specific rooms or areas of your home instead of following a set path.

The X2 Omni is the most effective mopping robot. Its mop pads that rotate clean tough stains and its motor generates lots of downward pressure. Its vacuuming capabilities are excellent as well and it increases suction when it detects carpets to ensure that it does a thorough job. It comes with a huge, rechargeable battery that lasts up to a week. The mopping feature of the robot is also extremely effective.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a premium robot vacuum and mop that comes with a variety of features that you do not often find on robots of this price range. It can make precise floor maps and recognize various flooring types. It's also among the only robots that automatically clean and dry its mop pad. These features are nice however they can make the L10s more of a class of luxury. This could mean it's more expensive than homeowners need.

Created to resemble a modern floor cleaner designed to look like a modern floor cleaner, the L10s Ultra is a tall and slim device with an elegant white finish that's accented by mirror-plated silver elements. The front of the machine is dominated by an enormous bumper, which helps protect the vacuum and furniture from damage while moving around the house. Behind the pane at the front is a second navigation technology in the form of sensors that aid the L10s Ultra navigate tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top of the vacuum, there is a single button which acts as an on/off switch. The button will activate the vacuum. By pressing it again, you can turn it off and send it back to its base station. The center of the control panel is the circular menu which allows you to select cleaning modes as well as schedules and preferences. The left and right buttons below the screen will bring up the settings menu in which you can tweak how the L10s Ultra interacts with your home.

The L10s Ultra, like the iRobot Roomba S9+ or Roborock Q Revo uses a combination of cameras and LIDAR technology to map out your home. This creates a precise floor plan that allows the robot vacuum and mop effectively without getting stuck in cluttered areas. The LIDAR assists the robot vacuum to avoid obstacles and identify them, which is an excellent feature for homes with pets or children.

The L10s Ultra is an extremely powerful vacuum cleaner that removes 98.4 percent of debris from our test on hard floors, and removing all but stubborn juice staining. Its mops also do a great job and remove 98.4 percent of debris from our carpet, tile, and wood tests. It wasn't as effective in removing sand from our hard floor or quaker oatmeal from the carpet.
