Both robots are adept at cleaning up surface debris from hard floors and carpets, and they are very good in moving around furniture and other obstacles. iAdapt navigation software creates a smart maps of your home to assist the i3+ to navigate and clean efficiently. The i3+ doesn't have the same obstacle avoidance capabilities as the i7+ or any other top-rated robots that we tested. It could be stuck on power cords or socks and have difficulty navigating between surfaces, such as carpet and hardwood.

iRobot recommends that you tidy the area in which the i3+ EVO vacuums prior to using it. This includes getting rid of any toys or other items it might encounter. You should also keep the dustbin and filter clear to avoid getting blocked. If the i3+ EVO's internal bin is full or the battery is low, it returns to its docking station and automatically empties its trash into the station's dust bin and then resumes cleaning where it started. The battery's lifespan is around an hour and a half of continuous use. It takes three hours to charge.

2. Roomba from iRobot

The iRobot i7+ is an excellent model from iRobot's flagship line, and it comes with the latest features. It has self-charging and self-navigating. But the most important feature is its auto-emptying bin. This removes the need for routine maintenance.

The Roomba i7+ can keep up to 10 floor plans and their names using Imprint Smart Mapping, which allows it to identify rooms to clean them more efficiently. It also works with the iRobot Home app to let you schedule cleaning tasks and control your robot using voice or through the app.

The i7+ is more efficient and more agile in our tests than the eufy RoboVac G30. It also cleaned large pet hair pieces from any surface including carpeting. The biggest advantage over the Eufy is its self-emptying bin, which eliminates major sources of maintenance and lowers the cost of recurring maintenance.

We were also impressed by the i7+'s compatibility Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant AI services. We used these services to instruct the robot vacuum cleaner quiet on how to start, stop, or pause cleaning sessions and also to move around the room and vacuum a particular area. The process of connecting the i7+ to these services was simple and straightforward using the iRobot Home app. After being connected, to give voice commands to the i7+ such as "Hey Alexa vacuum the master bedroom." The iRobot Home app also provides options to manage the i7+'s preferences and monitoring its performance.

3. Dyson Cyclone V10

The biggest issue with the V10 is its sluggish run time. As CR's tests show, its marketing claims of up to 60 minutes are a bit misleading. This is a common, not exceptional, battery-powered cordless vacuum's running time. It's enough time to clean a typical-sized home but not enough to reach every spot. (A second time generally works). However, this model isn't a good choice: It's lighter and agile than older cordless Dysons and its vacuuming performance is noticeably better on carpets with low pile.

4. iRobot Roomba 694

One of iRobot's most popular robot vacuums The 694 is a basic model that's a good choice for people who don't want to spend too much on a Robot vacuum Cleaner industrial. It was able to remove most types of debris in our tests and would often go over the same area many times to ensure an extensive clean. Its flat front design allows it to reach the corners and the edges of walls.
