This reduces hands-on maintenance and keeps the i3+ EVO from overfilling, but it still requires manually empty after each cleaning session. The i3+ EVO's inner dust bin holds 2.4L of trash that is more than enough to get it through four or five cleaning sessions before you need to replace it.

Like the i7model, this model also uses the latest floor sensors to create maps and navigate in neat rows. The i3+ EVO can only store one map, while the i7 can store multiple. The map of the i7 can be used to create virtual barriers and no-go zones, but not the i3+ EVO.

While the i3+ EVO is superior in removing dirt and debris from surfaces than the other robovacs that we tested however, it's not the most effective for cleaning edges and corners. It's also less gentle on furniture, despite being remarkably quiet. It moved chairs away from walls and caused some collisions with the sides of our bed, and was stuck to cords and toys while testing.

2. Black & Decker Q5 Pro
