To use an OBD hacking device you must have a laptop with software capable of reading the OBD protocol. These can be purchased for under PS100 on eBay or Amazon. You'll also require an OBD cable that has OBD pins that connect to the CAN bus, these can be purchased on Amazon or Ebay for about PS50. The cable has to be spliced into the wiring harness of your car, for example the radio wiring harness.
