However unlike the i7+ or other top 5 robot vacuum-rated robots that we test the i3+ does not have any obstacle-avoidance features and therefore it could be stuck on things like power cords or socks, and may have issues navigating across surface transitions, such as from hardwood to rug.

iRobot suggests that you clear areas in which the i3+ EVO will vacuum prior to when you use it, and include getting rid of any clutter or toys it might encounter. We were also awestruck by the i7+’s compatibility with Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant AI services. We utilized these services to instruct the robot to begin, stop, or pause cleaning sessions as well as move around the room and to vacuum a particular area.
