The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is a great choice if you're looking for an affordable mop and robot vacuum. It's a great mopping capabilities, but is lacking certain of the more advanced features of its more expensive sibling.

During testing it was able to handle dry oats and dust on carpets with medium piles as well as pet hair on hard flooring. But, unlike cheaper models, it doesn't utilize LIDAR to map out your home.

1. Roomba S9+ from iRobot

The iRobot Roomba S9+ robot vacuum is one of the top-rated robots. The S9+ is a new design from iRobot that focuses on enhancing corner and edge cleaning. It's the first Roomba that uses a flat-fronted D-shaped design. It's a significant improvement over hockey puck-shaped robovacs which are standard, but we found it to be only marginally superior to circular models.

iRobot claims that the S9+ also features a superior filtration system that blocks microscopic particles and allergens recirculating in your home. We think it's a nice claim however, it's not enough to justify a higher price.

Its smart navigation system utilizes sensors to store the arrangement of your home and vSLAM to map the interior. 2. Roborock Q Revo

The app is good at notifying you when something requires attention, such as the water tank being empty or a scheduled vacuuming session having been canceled because of a full dust bin.

You can also create or combine rooms to personalize the way Q Revo manages your home. That's a handy feature if you have multiple rooms in your home that have different flooring materials or there's a lot of clutter that must be removed frequently, like clothes, toys and books. The robo-vac is also efficient and was among the top performers during my tests, taking debris from carpets as well as hardwoods on the first pass. It is able to vacuum up wet spills. 3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni is a premium robot mop and vacuum combo with all the features you could want. Finally it is worth noting that the X2 Omni has a more user-friendly app and a voice assistant that works offline, which means you can control it even when you're not home. It also has more mopping options and a smart routing feature that allows you to clean certain rooms or areas of your home instead just following a specific path.

The X2 Omni is the most effective mopping robot. Its mop pads rotating clean tough stains and its motor produces plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming performance is also excellent, and it increases suction when it detects carpets to ensure thorough cleaning. It also has a large battery that can last for weeks between charges, and its mopping mode is as effective as anything we've seen in an ordinary robot.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot mop and vacuum is a top-quality model that offers a number of features that aren't often found on robots in this price range. It can build detailed floor maps, detect various flooring types, and it's one of the few that can automatically wash and dry the mop pads. But while these functions are great however, they also make the L10s Ultra more in the luxury category which could make it somewhat more expensive than what some homeowners need.

Created to resemble a modern floor cleaner The L10s Ultra is a tall and slim device with an elegant white finish that's accented by mirror plating and silver elements. The front of the machine is dominated by a large bumper, which helps protect furniture and vacuum cleaners from damage while moving through the home. Behind the pane at the front is additional navigation technology with sensors that help the L10s Ultra navigate around tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top of the screen, you'll find a single button that essentially acts as an on/off switch. By pressing this button, you can activate the vacuum, while clicking it again will shut off the vacuum and send it back to its base station. The circular menu located in the middle of the control panel allows you to choose cleaning modes or schedules, as well as preferences.
