The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is a great choice if you are seeking a robot mop and vacuum that's mid-range. It offers a great mopping experience, but doesn't have the advanced features of its more expensive counterpart.

In tests, it was able remove pet hair and dry oats out of carpets with a medium-pile. It doesn't use LIDAR however, as other models do, to locate your home.

iRobot Roomba s9+

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the top-rated robot vacuum cleaner with mop vacuums. It has a lot of features and impressive cleaning power, including the dirt compartment built into the base of charging. It can also learn your habits of cleaning and suggest schedules that are automatic for a truly hands-free experience.

It's easy to set up thanks to the iRobot Home app that walks you through the procedure. Once everything is connected, you can start the automated cleaning functions with the touch of one button. You can select the general clean option, which prioritizes the removal of larger debris such as cereal and rice. Or you can select two detailed mappings to ensure that the entire home is completely cleaned.

This robot vacuum is effective on both bare floors and low-pile carpet. It can take in large objects and doesn't lose suction as quickly as other models do and can clean up pet hair with ease. It has a difficult time with plush or high-pile carpets however, iRobot claims that future models will be better.

The S9+ features a new design from iRobot, which focuses on improving edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt a flat-fronted, D-shaped design, which it hopes will allow it to fit into furniture and walls. It's a nice improvement over the traditional hockey puck shape of the majority of robovacs. However, we discovered it to be only incrementally better than circular models.

iRobot also claims the S9+ comes with an advanced filtering system that blocks microscopic dust particles and allergens from recirculating in your home. It's a nice claim, but we're not convinced it's enough to justify the price tag.

Its smart navigation system employs a combination of sensors to keep track of your home's layout, and vSLAM technology for mapping the interior. This allows it to stay clear of obstacles like stairs and other barriers, and to clean up your entire home in the most efficient manner possible. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and set virtual boundary markers so that the robot can determine which areas need extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

When it is about robots that combine mopping and vacuuming the Roborock Q Revo is a standout. Its vac settings are just as effective as those on more expensive models and its mopping system is even better. Its spinning pads do a much more impressive job of scrubbing floors than a stationary vibration pad.

The only downside is that it does not have an additional rubber brush to allow for more thorough cleaning, but that's an affordable price to pay if you want to get one of the best robots on the market. The dust tank on the robo-vac is bigger than most of its competitors and filling it up takes only two or three times, even when you've got the most dirt.

As for the mopping system, I was awestruck by its ability to scrub tough dirt off my floors. The two lowest mopping settings which are less powerful than high-powered modes, produce very low noise, which means you can work or even watch television without getting distracted. If it comes into contact with the wall or a piece of furniture, it gently bumps into it before moving along.

What really distinguishes the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to operate almost completely autonomously, requiring only a little for human intervention. The dock of the robo-vac can be multi-functional and will automatically move trash into a hidden bin. It also cleans, tesvor Robot Vacuum dries and refills the clean water tank. The app will only notify you if something is wrong like low water levels or a vacuuming session that is cancelled due to a full bin.

You can also create and merge actual rooms to alter how the Q Revo treats your abode. This is an excellent feature to have if you have several rooms in your home that have different floor materials or if there's a lot of items that need to be removed frequently, such as toys, clothes, and books. The robo-vac is also very efficient and was among the top performers during my tests, removing debris from carpets as well as hardwoods on the first pass. It can also vacuum up wet spills but I would suggest drying them using a clean cloth before bringing the robot mop and vacuum combo in.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd want from a top-quality robot vacuum and mop combo and more. It has the ability to rotate mops and a powerful vacuum that can clean carpets as well as hard floors. It's similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+. It also has an auto-cleaning station that automatically washes and empties the mop pads, keeping them clean and ready for reuse. It also has a new sensor system that better detects obstacles, granting it the ability to avoid falling over furniture and other objects.

The biggest improvement to the ECOVACS the X1 Deebot is its sleeker, modern design. This is thanks to the Danish company Jacob Jensen Design, best known for their Bang & Olufsen product line. Although it's still quite large--it's more than two feet high and deep and weighs almost four pounds--the robot itself and its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot J7.

This version is more efficient than the X1 since it charges faster and cleans 1,500 square feet in a single charge. It also comes with a larger and more robust dust bin that can hold more debris. This makes it easier to empty.

Finally it is worth noting that the X2 Omni has a more user-friendly app and an assistant voice that works offline, which means you can manage it even when not at home. It also has more mopping options and an intelligent routing feature which allows it to clean certain rooms or areas of your home instead just following a specific path.

The X2 Omni is the top mopping robot. Its mop pads that rotate scrub away tough stains, and its motor creates plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming is excellent too and it enhances suction when it senses carpets to ensure that it does an excellent job. It has a large, rechargeable battery that can last up to one week. The mopping feature of the robot is also extremely effective.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a high-end mop and vacuum robot that comes with a variety of convenience features you aren't likely to find on robots in this price range. It is able to build detailed floor maps, identify different types of flooring and is among the few to automatically wash and dry the mop pads. These features are nice, but they also place the L10s in the class of luxury. This could make it more expensive than what homeowners would need.

The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaning machine. It is slim and tall, with a white finish accented with silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine features an impressive bumper that protects the vacuum cleaner and furniture while moving around your home. Sensors are concealed behind the front pane which help the L10s Ultra navigate around tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top of the vacuum, there is a single button which serves as an on/off switch. Pressing this will activate the vacuum, and pressing it again will turn off the vacuum and return it to its base station. The control panel is a circular menu that allows you to select cleaning modes, schedules, and preferences. The left and right buttons allow you to access the settings in the app, where you can customize how the L10s Ultra interacts with your home.

Similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+ and Roborock Q Revo, the L10s Ultra uses a combination of LIDAR and camera-based navigation technologies to map out your house. This helps the tesvor Robot vacuum mop and vacuum efficiently without getting stuck. The LIDAR also helps the robot vacuum detect and avoid obstacles, which is a nice feature for households with pets or children.

The L10s Ultra offers solid vacuuming performance that clears 98.4 percent of debris from our test on the hard floor and taking out all but the most stubborn juice stain. Its mops are also quite efficient, removing 98.4 percent of the debris that was found on our tile, wood, and carpet tests. However, it wasn't as great at tackling sand on the hard floor and quaker oats on the carpet.
