The Ghost immobiliser was created to prevent key cloning. This device connects with your vehicle's CAN data network and creates a unique pin number by using the factory buttons on your dashboard and steering. This stops the thief from being able start your vehicle. If the incorrect PIN code is entered, the engine isn't able to start which makes it impossible for them to drive away with your joy and pride.

Thieves can gain access to your vehicle's OBD using an laptop, mobile application, and cables that can be purchased online for less than PS50. Once they have access to your vehicle's OBD port, they will be able to do whatever they like, from setting fault codes, and tuning your car to taking away your pride and joy in less than a minute.

It can protect your vehicle from being taken away by requiring a unique PIN code to be entered in conjunction with your key fob before you start the engine or leave. It communicates with the vehicle's ECU (Engine Control Unit) via the CAN Data Circuit. This is undetectable by any RF scanning technology or code grabbing. You will also need a cable with OBD pins that connect to the CAN bus. These cables are available on eBay and Amazon for around P50. You will also require a cable that has OBD pins connected to the CAN Bus. These cables can be bought on Amazon/Ebay around PS50. You then need to splice the cable into the wiring harness of your car, for example, in the radio wiring harness.

Once the hacker has a connection to your vehicles OBD port, they can send diagnostics to the system at high baud rates which can cause CAN to crash and stop systems inside your car from working. This can cause the engine to stall or even lock doors, and even the brakes to be engaged.

No additional key fobs or remotes required
