The Upgrade item is a unique evolution item that trainers can utilize to evolve Porygon into Porygon2. This transformation requires an upgrade as well as the Sinnoh Stone and 50 Porygon Candy.

Upgrade components can be added to an item, but the previous one is destroyed (except for legendaries and Ascended equipment). Upgrade components are only available to upgraded items that have an identification level of zero or higher. If you add an upgrade to a weapon already equipped with an upgrade suffix or prefix the item will be referred to as it appears on the game screen (for example adding the Radiant insignia to Canthan Armor transforms it into Canthan Armor Minor Vigor). A player is limited to three upgrade items at a time.

Glyphs

Glyphs can be a valuable accessory to any item because they offer numerous unique advantages and boosts. Some Glyphs can also increase the number of affixes on an item, thereby increasing the overall power of the item. These glyphs can be found through the dungeons and some even drop in certain World Tier 3 areas. It is important to note that glyphs can only be used by players who have created a root-dungeon with the same depth.

In order to use a Glyph, you must first create it using components and connect them with anchors. The component will then automatically align itself to other components or paths within the same layer. If you don't want to create the glyph using components, you can employ a combination of paths and anchors. Drag an element close to an element highlighted to lock it in place.

Some glyphs require certain conditions to be met like 25 Dexterity in a particular area on the Paragon Board. Certain glyphs require a certain number of Primary Stat Nodes to be activated, which may be a bit difficult to achieve. Some glyphs have a radius that grows with each level.

Glyphs can be found on many different items, and are added to all weapons except for weapons of specific classes. Some of these glyphs also have conditions for instance, having a certain number of Dexterity or Attack damage in a specific area on the Paragon board.

The Defend Glyph gives you a 5% chance to block enemy attacks. It also has 15% chance to make the Hero vulnerable for 2 turns.

Certain glyphs can also be applied to limited use tools, like the Black Lion Chest and Trading Post. These glyphs contribute to the Combat Mechanic Achievement.

The most popular glyphs are the attack glyphs which boost the ATK substats of Artifacts with a flat value. These glyphs are especially useful for classes that rely on weapons with a range, such as Warriors or Rogues. The Exploit Glyph can make enemies who attack the Hero vulnerable to damage.

Reroll tokens

Reroll tokens are special tokens that can be used to reroll the results that are rolled when taking an Action. They are destroyed after the reroll has occurred. Reroll tokens can be gained in a variety of ways, such as through raids, dungeons, and skirmishes. They can also be bought at the shop or from other players. They are particularly useful in dungeons or trials since they allow players to reroll the rewards from the chest at the end.

Recycle points are available for items at the level 1. When recycle an item, it will add a certain number of points to the upgrade gauge. The value varies depending on the item's value and rarity.
