Natura &Co completed the acquisition of Avon Products, Inc. in January making it the fourth-largest pure-play beauty brand in the world. 76% of the combined company will be owned by its shareholders. This transaction will be subject to regulatory approvals.

As the head of Natura &Co, Joao Paulo Brotto Goncalves Ferreira is charged with growing the company's international presence. He previously worked for Unilever in Brazil and Latin America, where he was a Vice President-Supply Chain. He earned an MBA from the University of Michigan.

He has led the transformation of Natura from a traditional direct-selling company to a more modern, digital company. The company's digitalization led to productivity growth and 17 consecutive quarters growth.

Natura &Co will begin trading its shares on the New York Stock Exchange through ADRs in January. This will let the company leverage its brand Avon Leadership Team synergies and expand its product offerings and reach more than 200 million consumers around the globe.

The company also has appointed a new executive team to steer the next phase of growth. Roberto Marques will be the Group Chief Executive Officer, and Angela Cretu will lead the company's global business. She will oversee the management and operations of Natura outside of Latin America.

Joao Paulo worked for twenty years at Unilever before joining Natura. He held various roles, including Vice President Supply Chain. His last post was Vice President of Operations and Logistics for the company.

Ferreira is also a member of the Executive team of the C-Suite Department at the company. He is not a person who asks questions afterward, but rather spends his time first.

Angela Cretu

Taking on the helm at Avon is Angela Cretu, a veteran of Avon and its leadership team. With more than 20 years of experience at the helm of a renowned beauty brand, Cretu is poised to be the leader of Avon's global operations and development.

Avon CEO, Susanne J. Johnson, has been a long-time advocate for women around the world and has embraced the idea of gender empowerment. She has been involved in a variety of campaigns to create positive change for women in nations around the world. The most prominent are those that combat the violence against women and encourage economic empowerment for women.

In addition to her leadership role at Avon Cretu has also held leadership roles at other companies. She was the Vice President for South-East Europe, Group Vice President for Central and Eastern Europe, and General Manager of several regions.

In the last year, she was acknowledged for her contributions to the company's mission and has earned her the title of CEO of the Year, as well as receiving the Management Today Champions of Change award. INNOCOS has also acknowledged her as a leader of Change in the Women’s Empowerment category.

Fernando J. Acosta

Acosta is a senior executive leader sales at Avon. Acosta joined the company as Senior Vice President and Latin America President in 2011. He was recently named Chief Marketing and Social Selling Officer. This position is directly under the supervision of Charles Herington, the Company's Executive Chairman.

Before joining Avon, he spent several years working at Unilever. He has a wealth of experience building consumer-oriented companies in emerging markets. He is also an investor and a member of the board of directors at RoC Skincare New York.

He is the Chief Marketing and Social Selling Officer at Avon. In the meantime, he has led the development of a brand new approach to social selling that is digital.

Fernando Acosta started his career as an employee at Unilever. He has worked in the United Kingdom and Europe. Later, he held top-level positions within Unilever's Latin American operations.

He was the Category President for Latin America at Unilever from 1999 to 2004. He was responsible for overseeing Dove one of the most well-known brands of the company. He was also involved with the Dove Campaign for Real Beauty, which launched innovative products such as Pro Age.

After his time as a senior vice president for Unilever's Middle Americas business, he assumed a more global job. He served as Brand President for Dove Global at Unilever from 2006 until 2008. He was based in New York during this period.

He was previously a Regional President for Latin America at Avon. His tasks included driving sales, establishing the brand's Latin American strategy, and supporting the development of innovative product lines like Pro Age.

Louise Srivastava

Avon has a long and storied tradition and a broad selection of products. However, one aspect of the company that has stood out in recent years is its Health and Wellness division. In addition, Avon has entered into a strategic partnership with Cerberus Capital Management L.P., and will invest $435 million into the business in the next two years. As part of the agreement, ICR will provide capital markets advisory services to the Company.
