The Eufy Robot Vacuum Review

Eufy robot vacuums are famous for being easy to use. Eufy's RoboVac 30C model is Wi-Fi-enabled and includes the remote control for simple application operation. It also comes with boundary strips and an endurance of 100 minutes.

Its Boost IQ technology can move from wood and tile to carpeting with low pile and area rugs without a hitch. Other features that are standard include drop and obstacle detection, allowing it to keep from hitting furniture and walls.

Boost IQ Technology

The eufy line of robot vacuums offers a wide variety of models, but there are some features that are common across their line. One of them is Boost IQ technology designed to help your robot seamlessly transition from hard flooring to low- to medium-pile carpeting as well as area rugs. It will automatically increase suction power when it comes across a certain surface type to ensure it is as clean as possible.

Another useful feature is the ability to switch between various cleaning modes. Powerful Suction

This robot vacuum has an impressive suction of 2,000 psi that is ideal to remove food crumbs, cereal crumbs and other particles of dust and debris on low- to medium pile carpeting and hard flooring. It can also remove dust mites, pet hair and other allergens from upholstered furnishings. A rotating side brush helps reach into corners and along baseboards while the rolling brush pulls dirt and other debris that adheres to surfaces.

The 25C is WiFi-connected, and is controlled by an app for smartphones. It can also be controlled via voice commands when paired with an Amazon Echo or Google Assistant smart home speaker. It also comes with a small charging base that holds the vacuum when not in use.

All models of the eufy robot vacuum come with many standard features, like drop and obstacle detection to avoid running into things or falling down the stairs. Certain models, such as the eufy RoboVac 11S or its re-engineered predecessor, the RoboVac 30C Max offer advanced navigation systems which create and store a virtual map to know the direction it should take (and avoid) each time it cleans.

You can designate certain areas and tailor cleaning cycles for the eufy robot vacuum without using the Alexa compatible app or voice commands. You can also cordon off sensitive areas, like areas that house toys for children or console tables. This eufy model also comes with a pair of bounding strips that allow you cordon off larger areas.

The eufy RoboVac11S Max is among our most efficient robotic vacuums, receiving top marks in both navigation and cleaning. Its design is simple, having a single button to start it up and an on/off switch beneath for a permanent shut-off. It also features a tempered-glass surface and ten sensors to avoid obstacles and it has a 0.15 gallons/0.6 Liter dust bin. Its redesigned navigation system is equipped iPath technology, which creates and stores a floor map for your floor. It then uses that map to swiftly navigate to every room in your house and make sure it covers every square inch of your floor.

Convenient App Control

Like many robotic vacuums on the market Eufy's models have intelligent features that allow you to control your device from a distance. This includes the ability to schedule cleaning times, define virtual boundaries that block your robot from entering certain areas (such as rooms that are stuffed with electrical cords), and set the'return to base' feature. Some even let you create a map of your home and mark areas you'd like to get rid of.

Some of eufy's top-of-the-line robotic cleaners include a special navigation system called'smart mapping', which examines the floors in your home and builds a map that it references every time it cleans. This enables the vacuum cleaner to seamlessly move between floors that are unfinished and area rugs, and back again, without skipping a step.

The RoboVac 25C is a great example of this model. It comes with three suction power settings that you can choose using the companion app "Standard", "Turbo" which boosts the performance of the machine when cleaning floors that are not clean and "Max" which is specifically designed to clean floors with high piles.

The battery life of the vacuum is also excellent. It can run in its default "Standard" mode for up to 100 mins. The vacuum has built-in indicator for the battery that flashes blue while it is charging, then changes to orange when power is low, and then solidifies blue when fully charged.

Another great feature is the "Spot Cleaning mode, which lets you make the vacuum focus on a small, localized area by pressing a button at its base. This is ideal for getting crumbs or pet hair out of tight corners or under furniture where a traditional vacuum might struggle to reach.

The soft RoboVac also does an admirable job with pet hair on various floor types, though it might need several more passes to clear hairy patches that are difficult to remove from carpets with high and low pile. Like most robotic cleaners, it's not as effective in getting hair out of cracks and crevices as it is with floors that are bare however, it does a fantastic job of picking up pet hair from both carpeted and un-floored surfaces.

100 Minutes of Cleaning

The robot vacuum's suction can be cleaned for up to 100 minutes, and then it will automatically return to its charging base. It's able to work across multiple floors and comes equipped with a powerful suction that can pick up everything from cereal chunks to glitter specks of dust with ease. It has a durable brush roll, as well as a side brush that helps it get into crevices and corners that other robots might not be able to reach.

The battery-powered robovac works on hard floors and carpets and can be activated via the remote control included or using your smart home or smartphone assistant to send commands over Wi-Fi. In these instances the robot vacuum employs an algorithm that creates the path, and then follow it until it reaches the specified area. The robot then returns to its dock and charges, waiting for its next scheduled cleaning.

Other models of the eufy robotic vacuum don't have this level of intelligence. These entry-level models, which are generally the cheapest in the lineup do not have a digital mapping system but instead draw an unpredictably zig-zag route each time they begin a cleaning session. While this can be frustrating at times, the robot vacuum for dog hair is always able to cover the same spots over and over again. It also doesn't miss corners or other difficult-to-access areas.
