After a string of social media posts hinting at it, Italian supercar-maker Lamborghini has finally announced its first NFT (non-fungible token) project. Space Key, developed in collaboration with a non-disclosed artist, and based on cutting-edge carbon fiber composite materials that were shipped to the International Space Station as research material, is a project that has been revealed by Lamborghini.

Each of the five Space Keys features a different moment that takes place at different times as the Lamborghini Ultimae takes off towards the stars. Each of the five images was filmed by photographer Fabian Oefner and contains over 600 million pixels.

Oefner employed an inflatable camera equipped with a lens to capture the individual images, which were then combined into the final photo. The result is an out-of-this world photo that captures the beauty of Earth as well as the futuristic, hyper-realistic image of the car key lamborghini - recent Hwajung blog post - rising away from it.
