This model does an excellent job of taking on floor cleaning tasks hands-free from mopping to sweeping and even dusting. The base station is a slightly larger than other models and requires 50cm of space on either side and 150cm in front however for those with the room it can provide an entirely hands-off clean.

Its smart navigation technology can track the design of your home, and then store and utilizing the information within its internal memory, without ever transferring it to the cloud or an external source. Combining AI See with iPath laser mapping technology, the X10 is able to efficiently keep track of room layouts and optimize cleaning routes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.

The X10's smart object recognition system works well and allows the robot to quickly identify and avoid hazards such as power cords. It can even be programmed to automatically clean and recharge its battery which is a nice addition. However, I noticed that the X10 could be stuck on thicker rugs, crashing noisily over them, and sometimes pushing its front brush into them.

Overall it's a top quality robot vacuum and mop, but it's let down by a somewhat confusing application. Eufy Clean's app is not as easy to use as the iRobot App that guides you through the process of setting up your robot up and shows you how to use it. It's still a great choice however, and provides plenty of customizability for those that want to get the most of its features.

4. SwitchBot S10

The SwitchBot S10 is a full-fledged mop and vacuum cleaner, which gives the best of both worlds to cleaning your home. It comes with a unique design framework which allows it to gather dust and supply water for mopping in the same machine.

It's equipped with the standard sensors found on top-of-the-line robot vacuums, allowing it to create an outline of your home in real time, being able to avoid obstacles and recognize different kinds of carpets and hard floors. It mops exceptionally well and comes with the RevoRoll roller mop that puts 10N of pressure on any floor, and a RinseSync system that automatically cleans itself while it moves around your home. This helps to keep the mop in good condition while it sifts dirt and stops it from spreading throughout your home.

The battery in the S10 isn't as long-lasting as some of its rivals and might need to be recharged every few months through the year if you live in a large house. It also sounds very loud when in use, and therefore it may not be suitable for use in locations where quiet is required. It's a great value for the money. The SwitchBot S10 is one of the models that is unique in its class because of its sleek, modern design.

5. K10 Plus

The K10 Plus is a new version of Switchbot's Mini robot vacuum. This latest version is a combination of an Anti-Tangle Rubber Brush, Advanced Position Sensitive Detector (PSD) sensor, and an upgraded suction capacity that goes up to 3000Pa to offer greater corner coverage and overall cleanliness.

The K10 Plus uses SLAM navigation an easy app, and a thorough cleaning process. The PSD sensor works in conjunction with a rotary brush to navigate around furniture. The four-stage cleaning process combines, lifts, sweeps and vacuums to eliminate dust from floors and carpets. The dustbin is self vacuum-emptying and you don't need to be concerned about emptying it often.

You can also mark the areas in the room you don't want the robot to enter like pets or power cords. This is a feature that's commonly found in robotic vacuums. It's useful when certain areas of your house require more attention.

You can set the K10 Plus so that it returns to its base station after 60, 75 or even 90 minutes in order to empty its dust bin. This is a major improvement over other robots which have to be returned and manually emptied. It could save you lots of time.

In my tests, I noticed that the K10 Plus' battery life was excellent. It lasted for 110 minutes in one charge, which is higher than the iRobot Roomba Combo Essential's 127 minutes.

The K10 Plus has a fairly compact design, which makes it easy to place under furniture or in tight spaces. It is wirelessly connected and supports Alexa, Google Assistant and Siri shortcuts. It also works with IFTTT and Samsung SmartThings. Its app tracks the usage of its accessories like the filter, side brushes, and dust bag, letting you know when it's time to replace them.
