The Joie Roomie Glide

The Joie Roomie Glide is a bedside crib vs cot crib that lets parents co-sleep with their newborn whilst making sure that they're asleep safely. The smooth gliding motion of the Joie Roomie Glide will help ease your baby's sleep and its unique features allow you to monitor your child without having to leave bed.

The side panel that slides out of the cot can be lifted and lowered with a simple press of a button. This makes it easy to reach inside and soothe a crying baby at night. It has 11 height adjustments that can be adjusted to fit almost any mattress size and adjustable folding feet to ensure that it is at the right height.

The cot is cushioned, features mesh sides for better the airflow, and the mattress is made of high-density, foam for added protection. It's also able to be cleaned so you can keep it clean. It also comes with a fitted sheet that's suitable for use with the cot.

The Roomie Glide, unlike some other cribs for bed, is compatible with all beds including divans. This is thanks to the straps and clips that connect to it. It can be used as a stand-alone crib even when it's not attached to the bed. It comes with a variety of amazing features designed with the idea of parent-child bonding in mind.

One thing to bear in mind is that even though this crib is ideal for babies, it won't last long after your child is six months old, and you will have to purchase larger cots. But, in general Roanna found that the Joie Roomie Glide was a very good purchase and she particularly liked its elegant design.

John Lewis sells the Roomie Glide for PS160. Roanna thought this was a reasonable price for such an item. She was pleased with the way it was positioned in her bedroom and thought its grey color would fit the majority of modern homes. She also mentioned that it's not an ideal idea to rock a baby in the early years because it can create an unhealthy sleep pattern that can be difficult to overcome later.

The Tutti Bambini CoZee

The Tutti Bambini CoZee bedside rocking crib crib is designed to provide the best sleep possible. It features a drop side rail that can be easily removed for feedings at night without having to disturb your little one or get up - it's ideal for breastfeeding mothers! It is also lightweight and easy to move around during naps or when traveling.

We love that it's constructed of soft fabrics with breathable mesh sides that promote airflow and ease of use. It is available in oak or charcoal with various melange fabrics that will blend with most decor styles. Anna found it to be sturdy and secure once attached to her bed. The legs slid into place and the zippers were secure for security. It took Anna around 10 minutes to put together and did not require any tools. There are clear instructions along with a video and customer support number in case you experience any issues.

The CoZee crib comes with all the features you'd expect from a crib for your bedside, such as the ability to attach it to your bed using a stay-in-place connection system. It also comes with six height settings. In addition, there is an incline feature that can be used to aid babies with congestion or reflux. It is also machine-washable - a must for all the spills and vomit that come with a newborn baby!

The CoZee is a fantastic option to keep your child in the first six months of learning to sleep independently. It can be used as a changing station, cot or toddler bed. With the addition of a sofa-bed extension pack, it can transform into an actual bed. While it won't feed your baby or magically sleep them, it will rock them until they go off!

The Chicco Next2Me Magic

This is one of the more expensive models, but it comes with a lot of features. It's designed to be used as a side sleeper or standalone crib and is suitable from birth up to six months. It comes with a new mechanism to open and close the side panel and is simple to use even with one hand. It's also more flexible than its predecessor, with 11 different height levels and feet that retract to place under any bed.

Our testers appreciated the ease of access offered by the side panel, that can be moved up and downwards with just one push of a switch. This was especially helpful during nighttime feedings as they could reach inside and pick their baby up without disturbing them.

The side panel can be lowered by itself, too, but it's not recommended since it increases the chance of your child falling out of the cot. But, the patented safety locking mechanism means that it will only remain in place if it is connected to the bed properly. This feature is fantastic to have peace of mind when you are breastfeeding and need frequent feedings at night.

The Chicco Next2Me Magic is designed to work with any bed, including divan bases and beds with drawers thanks to the telescopic legs. It also has a tilting function for reflux babies and a rocking mode that can soothe them back to sleep after feeding. It's also extremely large bedside cot and offers excellent ventilation thanks to its mesh sides.

The Next2Me Magic was easy to use and set up for our test subjects, even with the lengthy instruction manual. It is a little heavier than other side-sleepers however, it is easily moved from one place to another. It's small enough to be able to fit in a travel bag when not in use, which is a plus in the event that you have to transport it. The only issue our test subjects found was that the side panel did not flex as much as the other models, making it slightly harder to see your baby from your bed.

The Shnuggle Air

If you're looking for an ideal bedside crib that turns into cot crib that can expand with your child then the Shnuggle Air is definitely worth a look. It is designed to be a co-sleeping bassinet that will attach securely to your bed and transform into a stylish cot once your baby is ready. It's perfect for night-time feeds and for strengthening your bond with your baby.

Contrary to other models of bedside cribs, the Shnuggle Air is built with breathability in mind. In the co-sleeping position, we discovered the Shnuggle Air to be an excellent option for breastfeeding mothers and women who have had a c-section as it allows them to easily reach out to their infant to feed and comfort them without having to get up from their own bed. It's a great option for parents who do not want to go through the hassle of putting their baby in a traditional cot or even getting them out of it.

During our tests, we found the gliding motion of the next-to-me crib to be particularly helpful when it comes to lulling babies back to sleep after midday and nighttime feeds. The drop-down side is also easily accessed to feed or calm babies in the middle of the night and was a major draw for our exhausted test mums. The Joie Roomie Glide is a sleek and functional crib that doesn't rock nor does it come with extra features like a sound machine.
