WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader

Upgrades will give you a boost in specific statistics. Each upgrade boosts the level of an item level upgrade (google.co.zm) by +3. Each upgrade also boosts the random substatus.

Upgraded gear is generally more valuable, unless the item is not required by nature (like FB sorc shields) or has a high variance in stats (like Eth Titan weapons). The latter are less valuable from upgrading due to the need to roll for a perfect model.

Recycle Points

The item upgrader allows players to upgrade their gear by offering the currency to an NPC. Upgrades can be applied to any kind of weapon or armor. The item used to upgrade the item upgrade will be consumed and can't be used again. Upgrades can also be applied to the enchantments.

The upgrader is located in every major city, and can be accessed at any time to upgrade your equipment. To keep your gear up-to-date, it is recommended that you visit the upgrader every couple of weeks.

Upgrades will cost more depending on the item level, however, they are always cheaper than buying new equipment. For example, upgrading a chest piece from Benthic to 385 ilvl will cost 20 recycle points, purchasing a similar piece from another player will costs 105.

Valorstones

Upgrades are functional items that are used to improve the quality of weapons, tools, armor, and accessories. They can be purchased by players from NPCs of item upgraders for a variety of currencies. They can also find them in random treasure lists. Once purchased, an upgrade can be applied to any weapon, tool, or armor. The button will show the item's next upgrade level if there are enough materials.

Upgrade costs vary depending on the slot for the item upgrading and the current item level. For example weapons are more expensive than gloves, bracers, or bracers. Each step costs 15 Flightstones plus a set number of crests. Certain upgrades provide discounts on Flightstones. Once an Best item upgrader has been upgraded to a certain degree it is able to be downgraded and sold to the upgrader for a lower price.

Upgraders for items can be found at many locations including the main island as well as some outposts. The NPCs offer both an upgrade coupon as well as the chance to obtain a new recipe. The discount for upgrading increases when more items are upgraded. It can be increased if players complete certain achievements or quests.

Icewind Dale does not have an upgrader for items at the start, unlike Cromwell from Baldur's Gate II. The NPCs that can assist with upgrades are only available through a variety means. This is both a benefit as well as a drawback.

In Season 3, many new features were added to the upgrade system. Once a player obtains an upgrade to a certain level for an item in an armor slot, upgrading further items to that level will be less expensive, even if they belong to another set of gear.

The discount is available to all accounts. In the same way, the amount of Harbinger Crests needed for upgrades is also reduced and is not available until players have reached certain milestones in their achievements.

Crests

Players have several options when it comes to upgrading their gear in WoW. Flightstones are a currency that is available to everyone for upgrading. Crests are more specific and are utilized during specific item level upgrades. Crests are an integral part of the Dragonflight Gear Progression System introduced in version 10.1. They come in four ranks.

The first thing to remember is that crests can only be spent on equipment that is of a particular rank, and each rank has different requirements for upgrading. The easiest and most straightforward upgrade is 15 crests. The most complicated upgrade could require as much as 20 crests, contingent on the kind of equipment being upgraded.

Players can earn crests by working through content at the appropriate level. This could be done by doing outdoor activities, or by doing dungeons or raids in all difficulty levels to obtain equipment of lower tier or Mythicbosses for raids, or dungeons that have a high difficulty for endgame gear. Crests can be exchanged at an upgrader NPC, like Cuzolth in Dornogal or Vaskarn in Valdrakken to get the appropriate upgrade routes and steps.

The use of these currencies isn't too complicated, but the system introduces some modifications to the upgrade process. For example, once a piece of equipment reaches the highest level of upgrade for any rank (Explorer, Adventurer, Veteran, Champion, Hero, or Mythic) it will no longer require Flightstones to be upgraded. This change lets players upgrade their gear to the highest possible ilvl for all their characters, instead of relying on seasonal loot.

It's also important to use crests in a wise manner, as they are only used for one purpose. It's Best item upgrader to use your Whelpling-rank crests on the highest-quality gear you can find, and save Drake and Wyrm Crests for the next round of upgrades. This is especially relevant for trinkets and rings that occupy multiple slots on the character which will only be able to take advantage of the account-wide discount if all slots are full of high-quality equipment.
