Unfortunately, the robot falls short on other standard features of its kind. The mops are excellent, but their maximum runtime of 60 minutes is lower than we would like to find in a product that has such a price tag. Additionally, it doesn't empty itself into its charging station or follow up mopping sessions with a quick vacuum.

But it's an ideal choice for people with large homes because the cleaning and mapping process are fast and efficient. The app is easy to use and you can even set time frames for when it will be working. It can also create custom cleaning routines that you can launch with a tap like the "After meals" mode that vigorously vacuums and scrubs kitchen floors.

This two-in-one has an exclusive feature not found in many other robots. VibraRise raises the mopping pad when it detects carpeting to keep the area rug from getting wet. It also makes mopping more efficient. It also has a deep-cleaning feature that vacuums and mops carpets in one move, taking out dust and dirt faster than spinning mops. You can also use the app to set an agenda for your regular cleaning or clean on the go.

While the S7 Max Ultra does a great job at its intended tasks but it's not without a few drawbacks. The price is the most significant. It's the highest-priced robot vacuum and mop set-up I've seen. Other issues aren't specific to this model and more representative of the robotic vacuum market as a whole It's not able to handle large spills or large, sticky messes with ease.

The S7 Max Ultra can be easily set up: simply connect it to the internet, then connect it to your smartphone via Wi Fi and start a cleaning session. Once you've completed that, you can alter its settings in the app, such as setting no-go zones and scheduling cleanings.

Its remarkable obstacle avoidance is a further plus. In testing, it only got stuck twice in tight areas, which is better than the S6 MaxV's 3 attempts and the X1 Omni's four attempts. The app allows you to mark an object as a temporary obstacle, and the S7 Max Ultra will ignore it during future cleanings.

Narwal Freo

The Narwal Freo is one of the few robots that include vacuuming and mops in its design. It's among the most affordable combo bots we've tested. The Freo is a fantastic option for anyone looking for a combination cleaner. Its outstanding cleaning capabilities, as well as its wide range of customization options, makes it a fantastic option. However, the absence of advanced obstacle avoidance features and an attractive app dampened our enthusiasm for this model.
