Lamborghini Enters the World of Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs)

After a series of social media posts that hint at it, Italian supercar-maker Lamborghini has finally announced its first NFT (non-fungible token) project. Space Key is being developed in collaboration with a non-disclosed artist, and based on cutting-edge carbon fiber composite materials that were shipped to the International Space Station as research material, is a new project which was announced by Lamborghini.

The latest project - dubbed the Space Key - is a work of art that was created in collaboration with a lone artist. The NFT is an exclusive piece of digital art that is accessible via the use of a QR code. The project is a limited edition and will be auctioned off within the coming weeks.

The Space Key is made of carbon composite materials that Lamborghini, in the course of a research project in 2019, sent to the International Space Station. When it returned to earth, carbon fiber was fashioned into this distinctive artwork. The physical object is engraved with an NFT serial number, which is tied to the digital artwork with a QR code on the back.

NFTs for those who aren't familiar they are unique identifiers that are stored on an open ledger on the blockchain and connected to digital assets, such as a photo or video, song, or other recording. This allows owners to verify the authenticity, scarcity, and tracking of their tokens across the internet.

Working with NFT PRO which is a white-label NFT solution for businesses, Lamborghini has taken this unique approach to art to a new level. In the coming weeks, Lamborghini will reveal details about the exciting project. This includes the name of the artists who are unknown and a schedule for auction.

Following multiple social media posts teasing something that was space-related, Italian supercar maker Lamborghini has entered the world of tokens that are not fungible (NFT) with a unique project called Space Key. Developed in collaboration with an unknown artist the NFT is a sought-after item that will be auctioned off within a few weeks. The NFT is a piece that's made of the latest carbon fiber composite material, which was sent to the International Space Station (ISS) in 2019 as part an experiment. The carbon fiber has been 3D printed to form the basis of each Space Key, which is linked with an exclusive, entirely digital artwork using an QR code on its backside. Only five Space Keys have been produced.

NFTs are unique IDs that can be logged in distributed ledgers like the Blockchain, and connected to digital assets like images. They're a hot topic among people with more money than So it was only a matter of time until an automaker decided to cash in on the trend.

Space Key consists of five units. They were constructed with a physical part of the carbon fiber composite that was shipped to the ISS in 2019. The digital artwork

After several weeks of social media posts hinting at it, luxury car manufacturer lamborghini diablo key has finally announced its first non-fungible token (NFT) project. Called the Space Key, it consists of five items that unlock a unique digital artwork NFT by the unidentified artist. The collectors' item was created in collaboration with NFTPRO(tm) and is limited to five units. It will be auctioned shortly.

At the heart of each Space Key is a block made of a high-tech carbon fire composite material. It was sent to the International Space Station in 2019 as part of a research project. After returning to Earth, the block was engraved with a QR codes that connect to the digital element within the Space Key.

Each of the five Space Keys will feature a separate moment that occurs seconds apart as the Lamborghini Ultimae lifts off toward the stars. Each of the five images was taken by photographer Fabian Oefner and contains over 600 million pixels.

Oefner used a balloon equipped with a camera, which took each of the individual images, which were later merged into the final image. The result is a truly out of this world photo that captures the beauty of Earth and the futuristic, hyper-realistic view of the car rising away from it. The Space Keys are going to be auctioned soon, but there's no precise date or time yet.

The auction

The auctions, which will begin between February 1 through February 4, will last for 75 hours and 50 minutes, the same amount of time it took Apollo 11 to leave Earth and enter the lunar orbit. By enrolling online, you'll be able to bid on five NFTs. Each NFT will be auctioned off separately and the winner will be awarded an original digital artwork created by world-renowned photographer Fabian Oefner that captures five different moments the Space Key experienced during its flight through space.
