The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is a good choice if you're looking for a mid-priced mop and robot vacuum. It gives a great mopping experience but lacks the features that make up its more expensive counterpart.

In tests, it was able remove pet hair and dry oats out of carpets with a medium pile. It doesn't use LIDAR however, as cheaper models do to locate your home.

1. IRobot Roomba S9+

The iRobot Roomba S9+ robot vacuum is among the best-rated robots. It offers impressive cleaning power and a variety of features, including a self-emptying dirt compartment built into its charging base. This robot can recognize your cleaning habits, and suggest automated schedules that will give you an effortless cleaning experience.

The iRobot Home App guides you through the setup process. Once the system is setup, you can start automated cleaning with a single button press. You can choose an overall clean that focuses on getting rid of larger pieces of debris such as rice and cereal, or opt for two thorough maps of your space to ensure that your home is properly arranged.

This robot vacuum is effective on both floors that are bare and low-pile carpet. It sucks up large items and does not lose suction as fast as other models do, and it can even pick up pet hair without much difficulty. It's not able to work with high-pile carpets or plush carpets however iRobot promises that the next models will be better.

The S9+ is a new design from iRobot that is focused on improving edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba that adopts flat-fronted D-shaped designs. The company hopes this will allow it to fit into furniture and walls. It's a nice improvement over the traditional hockey puck shape of robovacs, but we found it to be incrementally better than circular models.

iRobot also claims the S9+ has an improved filter system that prevents tiny dust particles and allergens from recirculating within your home. It's a nice premise, but we're not convinced it's enough to justify the premium price cost.

Its smart navigation system employs sensors that remember the layout of your home and vSLAM technology to map your interior. This allows it to avoid obstacles, like staircases and other barriers, and to clean up your whole home efficiently possible. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and also set virtual boundaries so that the robot can determine the areas that require attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

When it comes to robots that combine vacuuming and mopping and mopping, the Roborock Q revo stands out. Its vacuum settings are just as effective as those found on more expensive models. And its mopping system is superior because its spinning pads clean your floors more efficiently than an ordinary pad that vibrates.

The only issue is that it lacks a second rubber brush for deeper cleaning, but that's an acceptable cost to pay if want one of the best robots on the market. The robo-vac's dust tank also bigger than those on many of its competitors and takes only two or three cycles to fill it up, even with the maximum dirt level.

As for the mopping system, I was awestruck by its ability to scrub hard dirt off my floors. Its two lowest mopping modes, which are less aggressive than the more powerful ones, create very little noise, which allows you to work or even watch TV without interruption. If it comes across an object, such as a wall or piece of furniture, it gently bumps into it before moving on.

What really makes the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to run nearly autonomously with very little need for human intervention. The robo-vac comes with a multi-function dock that automatically moves physical trash into the hidden bin and also washes and dry mop pads and replenishes its clean water tank. The app is adept at nagging you only when something is in need of attention, for example, the water tank being empty or a scheduled cleaning session having been canceled due to a full dust bin.

You can also design and merge actual rooms to customize how the Q Revo will treat your home. This is an excellent feature to have if you have several areas of your home with different flooring materials or there's clutter that needs to be cleaned out frequently, like clothes, toys and books. The robot vacuum was also among the top performers in my test and Robot Vacuum Mops was able to remove debris from carpets and hardwood floors on the first go. It is able to even vacuum up wet spills however I would recommend cleaning them off with a damp cloth prior to sending the robot into.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd expect from a top-quality robot vacuum and mop and more. It comes with a rotating mop and a powerful vacuum that can clean carpets as well as hard floors. It's similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+. It also comes with self-cleaning bases that automatically empties and washes mop pads, keeping them free of germs and ready to use again. It also has a sensor that recognizes obstacles better which allows it to avoid falling onto furniture and other objects.

The most significant improvement over the ECOVACS the X1 Deebot is its sleeker, modern design. This is due to the Danish company Jacob Jensen Design, best known for their Bang & Olufsen product line. Although it's still quite large--it's more than two feet in height and depth and weighs nearly four pounds--the robot itself and its base are much less bulky than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot j7.

This model is also more efficient than the X1 version, since it charges faster and can complete a cleaning of approximately 1,500 square feet on one charge. It also has a larger and more durable dustbin that can hold more debris. This makes it easier to empty.

The X2 Omni also has a more natural voice assistant as well as an app that can be used even when you're not at home. It also comes with more mopping options and a smart routing feature that allows you to clean certain rooms or areas of your house instead of just following a specific route.

The X2 Omni is the most effective robot at mopping. Its mop pads that rotate remove tough stains and its motor produces lots of downward pressure. Its vacuuming performance is also top-notch, and it boosts suction when it detects a carpet to ensure a thorough cleaning. It also has a large battery that can last for weeks between charges and its mopping mode is as effective as the ones we've seen on a consumer-grade robot.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot mop and vacuum is a top-quality model that comes with a variety of features that aren't often found on robots in this price range. It is able to create detailed floor cheap maps and identify different flooring types. It's also one of the few robots that automatically clean and dry its mop pad. These are nice features however they can place the L10s in the class of luxury. This could mean it's more expensive than homeowners need.

The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaner. It's slim and tall and has a white-colored finish accented with silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine is dominated by an enormous bumper, which protects the vacuum and furniture from damage when moving around the home. Sensors are concealed behind the front pane, which help the L10s Ultra navigate tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top of the screen, you'll find a single button that essentially is a switch for on and off. Pressing this will activate the vacuum, and clicking it again will turn off the vacuum and return it to its base station. The central control panel has an oblique menu that allows you to select cleaning modes as well as schedules and preferences. The left and right buttons beneath the screen will open up the settings menu in which you can tweak the way that the L10s Ultra works with your home.

The L10s Ultra, like the iRobot Roomba S9+ or Roborock Q Revo uses a combination of LIDAR and cameras-based navigation technology to map out your home. This creates a precise floor plan that enables the robot vacuum and mop effectively, without getting stuck in cluttered areas. The LIDAR also assists the robot vacuum to recognize and avoid obstacles and obstacles, which is a wonderful feature for families with pets or children.

The L10s Ultra is a powerful vacuum cleaner, removing 98.4% debris from our test on hardwood floors and cheap robot vacuum taking out all but stubborn juice stains. Its mops also perform well in removing 98.4% debris from our carpet, tile, and wood tests. However, it wasn't quite as efficient in dealing with sand on the floor, or Quaker oats on carpet.
