In our tests we discovered that the top ANC headsets have batteries that last at least 30 hours. This is more than enough for a long flight or a week of commutes and meetings. Many models can go beyond the threshold and some will even reach 60 hours of active noise cancellation.

Be aware that although some headphones last longer but the quality of audio will diminish as the battery drains. It will be evident when the sound gets muffled and the bass becomes less punchy. Many people don't be aware of the difference, particularly when listening to podcasts or quiet music.

Monoprice BT600ANC over-ear headphones are another pair worth considering. They're budget-friendly, but have outstanding performance. They are light and comfortable with a padded headband that is easy to wear. They have touch controls as well as aptX and AAC support for high-quality audio on iOS and Android devices. They're not as great as the Bose QuietComfort 45 but they're still a great option for anyone on a budget.
