What is an Item Upgrader in Pokemon Go?

The item upgrader is an additional widget at the top of both the Angel and Cash Upgrade Windows. This Manager is priced at 33 billion Angel Investors and offers no gameplay benefit aside from making it easier to see and purchase upgrades.

Boosts

The item will retain all of its prior upgrade statistics however it will also get an additional bonus from its new base type. The bonus will be randomly selected from the following: an opportunity to acquire a weapon with an increased damage range or an improved reload speed, or a chance to gain an improved defense roll.

The amount of extras that you gain when upgrading depends on the amount of upgrades performed. Each upgrade will boost the extras by a maximum of 3 points. Each upgrade will also increase the main stats by +1.

In addition to the stat increases Certain upgrades can provide a random boost. These boosts can be valuable and should be considered when deciding what items to upgrade. Certain boosts can only be used in certain builds (such the Whistan's Shield in FB Sorcs) While others are useful to collectors.

Certain items come with inherent boos that are less beneficial when upgraded, such as the Goldwrap which provides additional slots for potion. These are usually upgraded to add value to a nearly perfect item.

Costs

There are a few costs that are associated with upgrades to items. The first cost is the upgrade itself. This cost can be expensive and depends on the new ilvl of the item and the number of perks it gets. It is also costly to upgrade an item to a higher tier (such as Explorer > Champion, or Veteran > Heroic).

The second is the cost of materials needed for an upgrade. These items are typically Power Dices (dropped from monsters 21+), Minerals and Erons, or specific Mists Of Pandaria or Warlords Of Draenor Quests. These items can be found in the inventory of an Upgrade Vendor.

The process of upgrading an Best item upgrade is complicated and requires time. It can take 8 hours depending on the size of the upgrade. The base stats of the upgraded item are calculated based upon its new ilvl as well as other properties. This calculation determines the latest Armor Class bonus, damage dice, and other important statistics. In certain cases, an upgrade can grant additional perks. These perks are listed on a list.

In rare cases the upgrade will only replace the highest-costing bonuses. Success Rate

You can also add additional materials to the upgrade to increase its chances of success. The materials are displayed in a window above the + button. There are some limitations. The maximum amount of material you can upload is shown directly above the + button.

Another method to increase the chance of a successful upgrade is to use an item called the Blacksmith Blessing or an upgraded version of it. This item upgrading is useful in the event that your item or weapon is near or has reached the top level of its tier. It allows you to upgrade that piece of equipment to the next level without worrying about breaking.

If an upgrade fails, it will be reverted to its initial state. This is typically a break, but could also be a downgrade. Keep an upgrade in reserve until you're close to the maximum level for an item.

For instance, upgrading a piece of equipment using HD Oridecon or HD Elunium repeatedly will give you a higher chance of success. The rate of success will be enhanced if you boost your chances of receiving a Double Mint by Shoe-Minting five times.

Failure Rate

The item upgrader allows the player to add an additional slot on their equipment. The slots can be used to upgrade an item or apply an enchantment. It is important to note that not all items can be upgraded. The enchantment and upgrade rate is dependent on the rank of the item. The higher the rank, the more Zen and the items you'll need to upgrade it.
