The A4s Pro is a bit expensive however it's a great purchase for those who want to be able to leave the house hands-free so they can take on other tasks or do chores. The A4s Pro also offers a useful auto cleaning mode that increases suction power to deal with tough spills and dirt and is equipped with a battery-powered ElectroWall that lets you place boundaries where the robot vacuum and mop for pet hair is not allowed to enter.

This budget-friendly robot from a popular brand is the cheapest we've ever tested, and provides incredible value for the money. The basic navigation system employs a super-basic random pathing algorithm, but it doesn't have room mapping capabilities, which makes it less time efficient than other models on this list. It's still able to navigate under furniture and in the corners. And its mopping mode performed very well in our tests, picking up stray hair and other debris.

Shark's iQ may not be as sturdy, but it is better at cleaning pet hair from all surfaces. It is more effective of cleaning carpets with low piles and floors that are not covered. It also utilizes the smart-pathing software for better maneuverability. It also allows you to transfer it to a particular room, and its sophisticated suite of automation features include no-go zones as well as scheduling. It can even stop and restart a cleaning session which is ideal for homes with pets.

Its self cleaning brushroll prevents tangles and can carry up to 30 days of dirt. It also comes with an assortment of angled side brushes that go deep into corners, and its multi-stage filtration system can capture dust, dander and allergens for a cleaner air.
