The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is a great option for those looking for a mid-priced robot vacuum and mop. It offers a great mopping experience but lacks the advanced features of its more expensive counterpart.

During testing it was able to tackle dry oats and dust on medium-pile carpet and pet hair on hard flooring. It doesn't employ LIDAR, however, like cheaper models do to locate your home.

1. IRobot Roomba S9+

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the most highly-rated robot vacuums. It is loaded with features and incredible cleaning power, including a dirt compartment that is integrated into the base of charging. It can also learn your cleaning habits and suggest automated schedules to ensure you have a hands-free experience.

It's easy to set up thanks to the iRobot Home app that walks you through the process. Once the system is in place it can begin automated cleaning with a single button. You can choose a general clean that focuses on the removal of larger particles like rice and cereal. You can also choose two mappings to ensure that your home is thoroughly cleaned.

This robot vacuum performs well on floors that are unfinished and low-pile carpet. It can take in large objects and does not lose suction as fast as some others do, and it can even clean up pet hair with ease. It does have a hard time with plush or high-pile carpet, but iRobot promises it will improve in the future with new models.

The S9+ features a new design from iRobot, which focuses on improving edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba that adopts a flat-fronted D-shaped design. The company hopes that this will allow it to be able to hug walls and furniture. It's a step up from the hockey puck-shaped robovacs that are common however we found it to be just marginally better than circular models.

iRobot also claims that the S9+ has a superior filtering system that stops tiny dust particles and allergens from circulating in your home. We think this is a nice statement but not enough to justify a higher price.

Its smart navigation system uses sensors to keep track of the layout of your home and vSLAM to map the interior. It then cleans your entire home with ease by avoiding obstacles such as stairs and other obstacles. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and set virtual boundaries to ensure that the robot is aware of what areas require extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

Roborock Q Revo is a robotic that combines vacuuming and mopping. Its vacuum settings are as effective as those found on more expensive models. Its mopping system is even better - its spinning pads clean your floors better than a vibrating pad.

The only drawback is that it doesn't have a second rubber brush for deeper cleaning, but that's an acceptable price to pay if you want one of the best robots available. The dust tank on the robovac is bigger than most of its competitors, and filling it takes just two or three cycles, even when you have maximum dirt.

For the mopping device, I was awestruck with its ability to scrub hard-to-clean dirt from my floors. Its two lowest mopping settings that are less powerful than the high-powered modes, produce very low noise, which means you can work or watch television without getting distracted. If it comes across a wall or furniture piece it gently smacks into it and moves forward.

What really makes the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to function almost completely autonomously, requiring only a little for human intervention. The robo-vac has a multifunction dock that can automatically transfer physical trash to the hidden bin, as well as washes and drys mop pads and replenishes its clean water tank. The app is adept at alerting you when something is in need of attention, like the water tank that is running out of clean or a scheduled vacuuming session having been canceled because of a full dust bin.

You can also create or combine actual rooms in order to customize the way that Q Revo manages your home. This feature is helpful when you have different flooring in different areas of your house or in the event that you have to regularly clear out clutter such as toys, clothes and books. The X2 Omni is a premium robot mop and vacuum combo that has all the features you could wish for. It has a rotating mop and a powerful vacuum that can clean carpets and hard floors. It's akin to the iRobot Roomba S9+. It also has an automatic cleaning station that cleans and empty mop pads to keep them clean and ready for reuse. It also comes with a brand new sensor system that can better detects obstacles, giving it the ability to avoid falling over furniture or other objects.

The biggest improvement to the ECOVACS X1 Deebot is its modern, sleeker design. This is thanks to the Danish company Jacob Jensen Design, best known for their Bang & Olufsen product line. The robot is still large--it has a height of more than two feet both height and depth, and weighs nearly four pounds. However, the robot and its base are smaller than the roborock s7 robot vacuum Q Revo or iRobot j7.

This model is also more efficient than the X1 version, since it has a faster charging speed for batteries and can handle a full cleaning of around 1,500 square feet on one charge. It also has a bigger dustbin that is more durable and can hold more debris, making it easier to empty when needed.

Lastly, the X2 Omni has a more intuitive app and voice assistant that operates offline, allowing you to manage it even when not at home. It also comes with an intelligent routing feature that lets it clean specific rooms or areas of your home, instead of following a set path.

The Omni Omni has the best mopping performance of any robot we've tested because of its mop pads rotating to remove tough stains and a motor that creates plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming is excellent as well, and it boosts suction when it detects carpet to ensure it does the job well. 4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot mop and vacuum is a top-quality model that has a range of convenience features not often found on robots of this price. It can create detailed floor maps and identify different flooring types. It's also among the only robots that automatically clean and dry its mop pad. These features are great but they also push the L10s into the class of luxury. This could mean it's more expensive than homeowners need.

It is designed to look like a modern floor cleaner, the L10s Ultra is a tall and slim device with an elegant white finish highlighted by mirror plating and silver elements. The front of the machine features a large bumper that protects the furniture and vacuum cleaner when you are moving around your home. Sensors are hidden behind the front pane which helps the L10s Ultra navigate tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top of the vacuum, there is a single button which is used as an on/off switch. Pressing this will activate the vacuum, and clicking it again will turn off the vacuum and send it back to its base station. Its mops also do a great job in removing 98.4% debris from our tile, carpet, and wood tests. It was not as effective in removing sand from the hard floor or quaker oatmeal from the carpet.
