Bentley Mulsanne Key Celebrates Its Centenary

Bentley's custom coachbuilding division, Mulliner, has designed a unique key case to mark the centennial of the company. Made from Dark Stained Walnut and Piano Black veneer, it includes a flying 'B' paperweight, a set keys, and a brochure with never-before-seen 1930 8 Litre images.

Aesthetics

Bentley is a brand that takes its aesthetics very seriously. Design

Function

The Bentley Mulsanne key has an open button on the trunk, and another button that starts the car. It also has a switch that can activate the parking break. Each key takes about two days to make. It is cut by hand and shaped, then sewn, sealed and polished to give the highest-quality finish. It is also equipped with Secure-A-Key which can help prevent theft of keys without keypads. This device is put inside the remote-control key fob and is turned off after a few minutes of inactivity, preventing thieves from transmitting the frequency of the key to other devices which can unlock and start the vehicle.
