Easy to install

The first step is to take off the original cover from your key. This has to be removed before the new cover can be fitted.

After removing the old cover After that, use an flat-head screwdriver to take out the four main attachment clips located on the passenger side of the fob assembly. These are marked with red in the image below. Also note the locating tab slots that are highlighted in yellow. They need to be disconnected also.

Replace the old battery with a #CR2032 coin cell battery. The "+" side of the battery should face the fob's opening, and Workshop the "-" side should be facing the rubber buttons.

Reattach the passenger side mirror cover by aligning the tabs that locate it. Once you have completed this, put the fob that is on the driver's side back in your car and test it by pressing the push button on the front of the car key. If everything is working properly the parking lights will be turned on and the doors should automatically close.
