WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader

Upgrades give you boost in certain statistics. Each upgrade boosts the level of the item by +3. Each upgrade items also increases the random substatus.

Upgraded gear is generally more valuable, unless it has a low requirement by nature (like FB sorc shields) or a high stat variance (like the eth Titan weapons). Upgrades are not as useful for the latter due to the requirement to roll a perfect version.

Recycle Points

The item upgrader mod upgrader lets players upgrade their gear by offering the currency to an NPC. Upgrades can be applied to any kind of weapon or armor. However, the item that is used to upgrade will be consumed for the duration of time and cannot be used again. Upgrades can be used to create enchantments.

The upgrader can be found in every major city, and can be accessed at any time to upgrade your gear. To keep your gear up-to-date it is recommended that you visit the upgrader every couple of weeks.

The cost of upgrades will depend on the current level of the item being upgraded however, they will always be cheaper than purchasing new gear from other sources. For instance upgrading a Benthic chest piece to 385 levels will cost 20 recycle points purchasing a similar piece from another player will cost 105.

Valorstones

Upgrades are items that can be used to purchase tools, armor, weapon and accessory upgrades. They can be purchased by players from item upgraders NPCs in a variety of currencies. They can also find them on random treasure lists. Once an upgrade is purchased, it can be applied to any weapon, tool, or armor using a button, which displays a preview of the item at the next upgrade level if the player has sufficient materials.

The cost of upgrading varies based on the slot of the item and the current item upgrade level. For instance weapons cost more than bracers, or gloves. Each upgrade costs 15 Flightstones plus a certain number of crests. Certain upgrades provide discounts on Flightstones. Once an item upgrader kit has been upgraded to a certain amount it is able to be degraded and returned to the upgrader for a lower amount of both currency types.

Upgraders for items are available in a variety of locations including the main island as well as some outposts. The NPCs provide an upgrade discount and the chance to obtain a new upgrade recipe. The discount for upgrading increases when more items are upgraded. It can also be increased by having players complete certain achievements or quests.

Crests

Players have several options when it comes to upgrading their gear in WoW. Flightstones are a currency that is available to all players for upgrading. Crests are more special and are used for specific item level upgrades. Crests are an essential part of the Dragonflight gear progression system, which was introduced in 10.1, and come in 4 ranks.

The first thing to note is that crests are only able to be used to purchase equipment of a particular rank, and that each rank has its own requirements for upgrading. This change allows players to upgrade their gear to the highest possible level on all their characters rather than relying on seasonal loot.

Another significant modification is that crests have one use therefore it's essential to use them wisely. It's best to use your Whelpling-rank Crests on the highest-quality gear that you can find and save Drake and Wyrm Crests to be used for the next set of upgrades. This is especially applicable to rings and trinkets that fill multiple slots on the character, which will only be able to benefit from the discount for all accounts when all of the slots are full of high-quality equipment.
