After a series of social media posts hints at it, Italian supercar maker Lamborghini finally revealed its NFT (non fungible token) Project. The heart of every Space Key is a block of advanced carbon fire composite material that was shipped to the International Space Station in 2019 as part of a research program. After returning to Earth the block was inscribed with a QR codes that link to the digital element within the Space Key.

Each of the five Space Keys will feature a distinct moment that occurs only seconds apart as the Lamborghini Ultimae lifts off toward the stars. More than 600 million pixels make up each of the five images, which were captured by photographer Fabian Oefner.

Oefner used an inflatable camera that had lenses to capture the individual images, which were later assembled into the final photograph. The result is an out-of-this world photo that captures the beauty of the Earth and the futuristic, hyper-realistic look of the car erupting from it. The Space Keys are going to be auctioned off soon, but there isn't a specific date or time yet.
