The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is an excellent choice if you're looking for an affordable robot vacuum and mop. It's a great mopping capability, but it lacks some of the advanced features of its more expensive counterpart.

During testing it was able to eliminate pet hair and dry oats out of carpets with a medium-pile. However, like cheaper models, it doesn't use LIDAR to determine the layout of your home.

1. iRobot Roomba S9+

The iRobot Roomba S9+ robot vacuum is among the most highly-rated robots. It comes with a variety of features and incredible cleaning power, including an area for dirt that is integrated into the charging base. It can also learn your habits of cleaning and suggest automated schedules to provide a hands-free and effortless experience.

The iRobot Home App guides you through the process of setting up. Once the system is in place, you can start automated cleaning with a single button click. You can choose the general clean option which focuses on the elimination of larger debris such as cereal and rice. Or you can opt for two thorough mappings to ensure that your home is completely cleaned.

This robot vacuum is effective on both bare floors and carpet with a low pile. It can pick up pet hair and clean large items up. It doesn't lose suction as quickly as other robot vacuums. It's not the best time with high-pile or plush carpet, however iRobot claims it will improve in the future with new models.

The S9+ features a new design from iRobot, which is focused on improving edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt a flat-fronted D-shaped design, which will allow it to be able to swaddle furniture and walls. It's an improvement over the hockey puck-shaped robovacs that are standard however we found it only marginally superior to circular models.

iRobot claims that the S9+ also features superior filtration which blocks micro-sized particles and allergens from circulating within your home. It's a nice claim, however, we're not convinced that it's enough to justify the high price price.

Its smart navigation system uses sensors to keep track of the arrangement of your home and vSLAM for mapping the interior of your home. This allows it to steer clear of obstacles, such as stairs and other barriers, and to tidy up your entire home in the most efficient way possible. The iRobot Home app lets you manage the robot and plan cleaning times, as well as create virtual boundary markers, so it knows to avoid areas that need extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

Roborock Q Revo is a robotic that combines vacuuming and mopping. Its vac settings are just as effective as those on higher-end models and its mopping feature is even better. Its spinning pads do a much better job of cleaning your floors than a stationary vibration pad.

The only drawback is the absence of a second brush to allow for more thorough cleaning. However, that's not a problem when you're looking to purchase one of the best robots on the market. The dust tank of the robo-vac is bigger than most of its competitors, and filling it up takes only two or three cycles, even when you have maximum dirt.

In terms of the mopping device, I was amazed with its ability to scrub the tough dirt off my floors. The two lowest mopping settings, which are less powerful than the high-powered settings, produce minimal noise, meaning you can work or watch television without getting distracted. It will gently bump into a wall or furniture and then move on whenever it comes across one.

What distinguishes the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to operate almost autonomously with very little need for human intervention. The robo-vac features a multi-function dock that automatically transfers physical garbage into the bin hidden in the background, as well as cleans and drys mop pads and replenishes its clean water tank. The app will only inform you when something is wrong for example, low water levels or a vacuuming session that is cancelled due to the bin being full.

You can also design and merge actual rooms to alter the way that Q Revo will treat your home. That's a handy feature for those who have multiple rooms in your home that have different flooring materials or if there's a lot of items that need to be cleared out frequently, like toys, clothes and books. The robo-vac is also very efficient and was one of the top performers in my tests, taking debris from carpets as well as hardwood floors in the first attempt. It can vacuum up even wet spills. I recommend drying them with a towel before sending it in.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

However, the robot Mop vacuum combo and its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot j7.

This model is also more efficient than the X1, as it charges faster and can complete a cleaning of about 1,500 square feet with just one charge. It also has a larger and more robust dust bin that can hold more debris. This makes it easier to empty.

The X2 Omni also has a more natural voice assistant as well as an app that can be used even when you're at home. It also has a smart routing feature that lets it clean specific rooms or areas of your home instead of following a set path.

The X2 Omni is the most effective robot for mopping. Its rotating mop pads clean tough stains and its motor produces plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming performance is excellent, and it increases suction when it senses carpets to ensure thorough cleaning. It also has a large battery that can last for weeks between charges and its mopping mode is as powerful as the ones we've seen on an ordinary robot.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

It can create detailed floor maps and identify different types of flooring. It's also among the few robots that automatically clean and dry its mop pad. While these features are useful, they also push the L10s Ultra into the luxury category which could make it somewhat more expensive than the average homeowner require.

It is designed to resemble a modern floor cleaner designed to look like a modern floor cleaner, the L10s Ultra is a tall and slim machine with an elegant white finish that's highlighted by mirror plating and robot mop Vacuum Combo silver elements. The front of the machine is dominated by a huge bumper, which protects the vacuum and furniture from damage when moving through the home. In the pane in the front is an additional navigation technology in the form of sensors that help the L10s Ultra navigate around tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top of the vacuum, there is a single button that serves as an on/off switch. By pressing this button, you can activate the vacuum, while clicking it again will turn off the vacuum and send it back to its base station. The circular menu at the middle of the control panel allows you to select cleaning modes as well as schedules and preferences. The left and right buttons on the screen will open up the settings menu in which you can tweak how the L10s Ultra interacts with your home.

Similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+ and Roborock Q Revo, the L10s Ultra uses a combination of LIDAR and camera-based navigation technologies to map out your home. This allows the robot to vacuum and mop effectively without getting stuck. The LIDAR assists the robot vacuum to avoid obstacles and identify them as obstacles, which is an excellent feature for homes with pets or small children.

The L10s Ultra has a solid vacuuming capability, clearing 98.4 percent of the debris from our hard-floor test and getting rid of all but the most stubborn juice stains. Its mops are also quite efficient, taking away 98.4% of debris on our tile, wood, and carpet tests. It was not as efficient in removing sand from our hard floor or quaker oats from the carpet.
