The Q Revo is a great option if you're looking for a robotic vacuum and mop that's middle-of-the-road. It's a great mopping performance but lacks some of the features found in its more expensive sibling.

In tests, it was able to handle dry oats and dust on carpets of medium pile and pet hair on hard flooring. It does not use LIDAR, however, as cheaper models do, to locate your home.

The iRobot Roomba S9+ robot vacuum is one of the most highly-rated robots. It is loaded with features and incredible cleaning power, including the dirt compartment built into the base of charging. This robot vacuum performs well on both floors with no carpet and carpets with low pile. It's a challenge with plush or high-pile carpets however iRobot claims that future models will be better.

2. Roborock Q Revo

When it is about robots that combine mopping and vacuuming, the Roborock Q Revo is a standout. Its vac settings are just as efficient as those found on more expensive models and its mopping feature is even better. Its spinning pads do a much more impressive job of scrubbing your floors than a stationary vibration pad.

The only drawback is the lack of a second brush to allow for more thorough cleaning. However, that's not a big deal for those who want to own one of the best robots on the market. The robo-vac's tank for dust is also larger than many of its rivals and it takes only two or three cycles to fill it up, even with the maximum dirt level.

As for the mopping device, I was amazed by its ability to remove the tough dirt off my floors. The two mopping settings that it has which are less powerful than high-powered settings, produce little noise, so you can work or watch television without getting distracted. If it encounters the wall or a furniture piece it gently bumps into it and moves on.

The Q Revo is unique in that it runs almost entirely on its own, requiring only minimal user involvement. The robo-vac has a multifunction dock that can automatically transfer physical trash into the bin hidden from view and washes and dry the mop pads, and refills its clean water tank. The app is adept at notifying you when something requires attention, such as the water tank being empty or a scheduled vacuuming session that was cancelled due to a stuffed dust bin.

You can also create or combine rooms to personalize the way Q Revo manages your home. This is an excellent feature to have if you have several areas of your home with different flooring materials or if there's some clutter that needs to be removed frequently, like clothes, toys, and books. The robot vacuum was also among the top performers in my test and was able to remove debris from both carpets as well as hardwood floors on the first attempt. It can vacuum up even wet spills. I recommend drying the area with a towel prior to sending it into.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd expect from a premium robot vacuum and mop and more. Like the iRobot Roomba S9+, it has an excellent vacuum that has a powerful suction that cleans carpet and hard floors, and the mop's rotating design that can scrub tough stains. It also has an automatic cleaning station that washes and cleans mop pads to keep them clean and ready for reuse. It also features a new sensor system that better detects obstacles, granting it the ability to prevent falling over furniture or other objects.

The biggest difference over the ECOVACS Deebot X1 is that this model has a sleeker, more modern design thanks to Danish firm Jacob Jensen Design (best known for Bang & Olufsen products). While still quite massive--it's nearly two feet tall and deep and weighs almost four pounds--the robot and its base are less bulky than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot J7.

This model is also more efficient than the X1 version, since it has faster battery charging and can handle a complete cleaning of approximately 1,500 square feet in one charge. It also has a bigger dustbin that is more durable and can hold more debris, making it easier to empty when needed.

The X2 Omni also has a more intuitive voice assistant and an app that works even when you're not at home. It also has more mopping options and an intelligent routing feature that gives it the flexibility to clean certain rooms or areas of your home instead of simply following a predetermined route.

The X2 Omni has the top mopping performance of any robot we've tested due to its mop pads that rotate to clean tough stains away and a motor that generates plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming performance is excellent, and it increases suction when it senses carpets to ensure thorough cleaning. It has a large rechargeable battery that can last up to seven days. The mopping feature of the robot is also very effective.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a top-quality mop and robot vacuum that comes with a variety of convenience features you aren't likely to find on robots in this price range. It is able to build detailed floor maps, identify different types of flooring and is among the few that can automatically wash and dry its mop pads. These features are great, but they also make the L10s more of a class of luxury. This might make it more expensive than homeowners need.

Designed to resemble a modern floor cleaner, the L10s Ultra is a tall and slim device with an elegant white finish that's accented by mirror plating and silver elements. The front of the machine is dominated by a huge bumper, which protects the vacuum and furniture from damage when moving through the home. In the pane in the front is a second navigation technology that is comprised of sensors that aid the L10s Ultra maneuver tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top of the vacuum there is a single button which serves as an on/off switch. The button will activate the vacuum.
