The best automatic vacuum cleaner Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is an excellent choice if you are seeking a robot vacuum and mop that's mid-range. It offers a great mopping experience, but it lacks the advanced features of its more expensive sibling.

During testing it was able to eliminate pet hair and dry oats out of medium-pile carpets. It doesn't use LIDAR, however, as cheaper models do, to map your home.

Roomba s9+ from iRobot

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the top-rated robot vacuums. It has impressive cleaning power and plenty of features such as an automatic dirt bin built into its charging base. This robot can recognize your cleaning habits, and suggest automatic schedules to provide you with an effortless cleaning experience.

The iRobot Home App guides you through the process of setting up. Once everything is connected, you can begin the automated cleaning process at the touch of the button. You can select a general clean which focuses on the elimination of larger debris such as cereal and rice. You can also opt for two thorough mappings to ensure that your home is cleaned thoroughly.

This robot vac performs well on both bare floors and carpets with low pile. It can remove pet hair and clean big objects up. It doesn't lose its suction as quickly as other robot vacuums. It's not able to work with plush or high-pile carpets however, iRobot claims that future models will be better.

The S9+ is a new design by iRobot that concentrates on improving the edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt an open-fronted, flat-fronted design, which will allow it to hug walls and furniture. It's a step up from the hockey puck-shaped robovacs which are widely used however we found it only marginally superior to circular models.

iRobot claims that the S9+ also features superior filtration, which prevents microscopic particles and allergens recirculating throughout your home. We like the statement however, it's not enough to justify a premium price.

Its intelligent navigation system makes use of a combination of sensors to remember the layout of your home and vSLAM technology for mapping the interior. It can then clean your entire home with ease by avoiding obstacles like stairs and other barriers. The iRobot Home app lets you control the robot and set cleaning times, and create virtual boundary markers, Robot so it is aware of areas that need extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

Roborock Q Revo is a robot that combines vacuuming and mopping. Its vacuum settings are as efficient as those found on higher-end models, and its mopping system is even better. Its spinning pads do a much better job of scrubbing floors than a stationary vibration pad.

It's only downside is the lack of a second brush for deeper cleaning. However, it's not a big deal for those who want to own one of the top robots available. The dust tank on the robovac is larger than many of its competitors, and filling it takes just two or three times, even when you have maximum dirt.

In terms of the mopping system, I was impressed by its ability to scrub hard dirt off my floors. The two lowest mopping settings which are less powerful than high-powered modes, produce very little noise, so you can work or even watch television without getting distracted. It will gently bump into furniture or walls, and then move away if it comes across one.

The Q Revo is unique in that it can run almost autonomously, with little user involvement. The dock of the robo-vac has multiple functions and automatically transfers garbage into a bin hidden. It also washes and dries the clean water tank. The app will only alert you when something is not right for example, low water levels or a canceled vacuuming session due to the bin being full.

You can also create and merge actual rooms to alter the way that Q Revo will treat your home. This is a great feature if you have multiple areas of your home with different flooring materials or there's some items that need to be removed frequently, such as toys, clothes and books. The robo-vac is also efficient and was one of the top performers in my tests, taking dirt from carpets and hardwood floors in the first attempt. It can vacuum up even wet spills. I recommend drying the area with a towel prior to sending it into.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd want from a premium robot vacuum and mop and more. Similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+, it has an excellent vacuum that has a powerful suction that cleans carpets and hard floors, and the mop's rotating design that can scrub tough staining. It also has a self-cleaning base station that automatically cleans and empty the mop pads, ensuring that they remain them free of germs and ready to use again. It also features a new sensor system that can better recognizes obstacles, giving it the ability to avoid falling over furniture and other objects.

The most significant improvement over the ECOVACS Deebot X1 is that it is sleeker and more modern design due to Danish firm Jacob Jensen Design (best known for Bang & Olufsen products). The robot is still big. It has a height of more than two feet both height and depth, and weighs in at least four pounds. However the robot and its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo and iRobot J7.

This version is more efficient than the X1 as it charges faster and cleans 1,500 square feet in a single charge. It also has a larger and more robust dustbin that can store more debris. This makes it easier to empty.

Lastly it is worth noting that the X2 Omni has a more user-friendly app and voice assistant that operates offline, allowing you to use it even if you're not home. It also has more mopping modes and an intelligent routing feature that allows you to clean certain rooms or areas of your house instead of simply following a predetermined path.

The X2 Omni is the best robot for mopping. Its rotating mop pads remove tough stains and its motor generates plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming performance is also excellent, and it increases suction when it detects a carpet to ensure a thorough cleaning. It also has a huge battery that can last for weeks between charges, and its mopping mode is as powerful as anything we've seen in a consumer-grade robot.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a top-quality robot vacuum and mop that comes with a range of features that you do not often find on robots at this price range. It is able to create precise floor maps and recognize different flooring types. It's also among the few robots that automatically clean and dry its mop pad. These features are nice but they also push the L10s into the premium category. This might make it more expensive than what homeowners would need.

Designed to look like a contemporary floor cleaner, the L10s Ultra is a tall and slim device with an elegant white finish that's accented by mirror plating and silver elements. The front of the machine is dominated by an enormous bumper, which helps protect furniture and vacuum cleaners from damage while moving around the home. Behind the pane at the front is a second navigation technology in the form of sensors that aid the L10s Ultra navigate around tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top, there's a single button that essentially acts as an on/off switch. By pressing this button, you can activate the vacuum, and clicking it again will shut off the vacuum and return it to its base station. The central control panel has an oblique menu that allows you to select cleaning modes, schedules, and preferences. The left and right buttons will open the app's settings where you can customize how the L10s Ultra interacts with your home.

Like the iRobot Roomba S9+ and Roborock Q Revo, the L10s Ultra uses a combination of LIDAR and camera-based navigation technology to map out your home. This allows the robot to mop and vacuum efficiently without getting stuck. The LIDAR assists the robot vacuum to avoid obstacles and recognize them, which is an excellent feature for homes with pets or small children.

The L10s Ultra is an efficient vacuum cleaner that removes 98.4% debris from our test on hard floors and taking out all but stubborn juice staining. Its mops are also quite efficient, removing 98.4 percent of the debris that was found on our tile, wood, and carpet tests. It was not as efficient in removing sand from the hard floor or quaker oatmeal from the carpet.
