The robo-vac comes with a multi-function dock that automatically transfers physical trash to the bin hidden in the background and also washes and drys the mop pads, and refills its clean water tank. The app will only notify you if something is wrong like the water tank being empty or a vacuuming session that is cancelled due to an empty bin.

You can also create and combine rooms to modify how the Q Revo treats your abode. This feature is useful for those who have different flooring in different areas of your house or when you have to frequently clear out clutter such as clothes, toys and books. The robo-vac is also efficient and was among the top performers in my tests, taking dirt from carpets and hardwoods on the first pass. It is able to even vacuum up wet spills but I would suggest wiping them dry with a cloth before sending the robot vacuums in.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd want from a top-quality robot vacuum and mop and more. The Omni X2 Omni has the top mopping performance of any robot we've tested thanks to its mop pads rotating to remove tough stains and a motor that generates plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming performance is outstanding too and it enhances suction when it senses carpets to ensure that it does a thorough job. It is equipped with a large, rechargeable battery that can last up to one week. The mopping mode of the robot is also extremely effective.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a top-quality mop and vacuum robot vacuum & mop that comes with a range of convenience features that you aren't likely to find on robots of this price. It can make precise floor maps and recognize different flooring types. It's also one of the few robots that automatically clean and dry its mop pad. But while these functions are useful, they also put the L10s Ultra in the luxury category and could mean it's somewhat more expensive than what some homeowners need.

The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaner. It's slim and tall, with a white finish that is complemented by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine has an enormous bumper that shields the furniture and vacuum cleaner as you move around your home. In the pane in the front is additional navigation technology that is comprised of sensors that help the L10s Ultra maneuver tight corners and avoid obstacles.

It was not as efficient in removing sand from the hard floor or quaker oatmeal from the carpet.
