The Eufy 11S, like the Neato D7 is sleek and low profile. It can be positioned under beds, couches, and coffee tables with greater ease than other robot vacuums can. It also has a few features that allow it to effectively clean and go exactly where you want it to be, including no-go lines you can draw on its virtual maps to prevent the robot from cleaning delicate areas like pet bowls and beds. It also has an auto recharge and resume feature that, if the battery is dead before it has finished cleaning it, it will automatically make its return to its base to charge and then picks up where it began.

In our tests, the RoboVac 11S performed much better than its predecessor, the eufy RoboVac 30C. It also performed better than the ILIFE A4s and bObsweep Bob Pro, and the ILIFE a4s. It has a larger dirt compartment and a longer battery lifespan and is able to remove more debris from low-pile and high pile carpets to floor surfaces that are bare. It is also simpler to maintain, incurs less cost per year and has a better ability to move itself.

It uses random navigation to find its way around the room and feels its way around obstacles with sensors located in its front bumper and underbelly. This robot is as in its element on floor surfaces that it is on carpet. Its suction power of 2,000Pa is sufficient to take on thick, heavily-soiled carpeting. It feels impressively built, has a comprehensive set of navigation features and is easy to maintain. However it has a shorter maximum battery life than other models and has higher recurring costs.

The Q5 is among the slowest-moving robots that we've tested, but it has a reliable layout algorithm that doesn't require to be watched over after its first run through the space. It begins by tracing a perimeter, and then fills in the interior with parallel lines. Once it's finished, it returns to its charging station or its starting location if it left the base.

It did a great job of cleaning hardwood floors and removing at least 88% dirt from each test. It had more trouble with low- and high-pile carpets however, it performed much better than the average unit. It also comes with a mopping attachment to remove wet spills. We didn't test it.

Its maneuverability is higher than average for a robot with lidar, and it is capable of softly bouncing into furniture and other obstacles.
