The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is an excellent option if you're looking for a robotic mop and vacuum that's priced in the middle. It provides a fantastic mopping experience but lacks the advanced features of its more expensive sibling.

In the course of testing, it was able to take on dry oats and dust on carpets with medium piles and pet hair on hard flooring. It does not use LIDAR, however, like cheaper models do to identify your home.

iRobot Roomba s9+

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the top robot vacuums. It is a powerful cleaner and numerous features, including the self-emptying dirt container built into its charging base. The robot also learns your habits of cleaning and suggest schedules that are automatic for a truly hands-free experience.

The iRobot Home App guides you through the setup process. Once the system is in place it can begin cleaning automatically with just one button. You can choose an overall clean which focuses on the elimination of larger pieces of debris like rice and cereal. Or you can select two detailed mappings to ensure that your entire home is cleaned thoroughly.

This robot vacuum performs well on floors that are unfinished and low-pile carpet. It is able to take large objects and does not lose suction as fast as some others do, and it can even remove pet hair with ease. It's a challenge with high-pile carpets or plush carpets however, iRobot claims that future models will be more efficient.

The S9+ is a new design from iRobot that focuses on enhancing edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba that uses flat-fronted D-shaped designs. The company hopes this will allow it hug furniture and walls. It's a nice change from the traditional hockey puck shape of robovacs, but we found it to be only incrementally better than circular models.

iRobot also claims that the S9+ has an advanced filtering system that blocks microscopic dust particles and allergens from circulating throughout your home. It's a nice claim, however, we're not convinced that it's enough to justify the premium price tag.

Its intelligent navigation system makes use of sensors to store the layout of your home and vSLAM for mapping the interior of your home. It can then clean your entire house efficiently by avoiding obstacles like stairs and other obstacles. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and set virtual boundaries to ensure that the robot is aware of which areas need extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

When it is about robots that can combine mopping and vacuuming, the Roborock Q Revo is a standout. Its vacuum settings are just as effective as those found on higher-end models. The mopping system is superior - its spinning pads clean your floors more effectively than an ordinary pad that vibrates.

The only issue is that it does not have an additional rubber brush to allow for more thorough cleaning, but that's a small cost to pay if are looking for one of the top robots on the market. The robo-vac's dust tank is also bigger than those on many of its rivals, and it takes just two or three cycles to fill it, even with the maximum dirt level.

For the mopping system, I was impressed by its ability to scrub tough dirt off my floors. The two mopping settings that it has which are less powerful than high-powered settings, produce minimal noise, meaning you can work or even watch television without being distracted. If it comes across the wall or a furniture piece it gently bumps into it before moving along.

What really distinguishes the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to run nearly autonomously with very little need for human intervention. The robo-vac has a multifunction dock that can automatically transfer physical trash to the bin hidden from view and also cleans and drys the mop pads and refills its clean water tank. The app will only inform you when something is wrong for example, the water tank being empty or a canceled vacuuming session due to an empty bin.

You can also create and combine actual rooms to alter the way that Q Revo manages your home. This is an excellent feature if you have multiple areas of the home with different flooring materials or if there's some items that need to be cleared out frequently, such as toys, clothes and books. The robot vacuum is also efficient and was among the top performers during my tests, removing dirt from carpets and hardwood floors in the first attempt. It is able to vacuum up wet spills. I suggest drying the area with a towel prior to sending it in.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd expect from a top-quality robot vacuum and mop combo and more. It has an omni-rotating mop as well as a powerful vacuum that can clean carpets as well as hard floors. It's similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+. It also has an auto-cleaning base station that automatically cleans and empty the mop pads, ensuring that they remain them free of germs and ready to use again. It also comes with a brand new sensor system that better detects obstacles, granting it the ability to avoid falling over furniture or other objects.

The biggest difference over the ECOVACS Deebot X1 is that this model has a sleeker, more modern design, thanks to Danish firm Jacob Jensen Design (best budget robot vacuum for pet hair known for its Bang & Olufsen products). The robot is still big. It measures over two feet in the height and depth and weighs nearly four pounds. However, the robot and its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo and iRobot J7.

This model is also more efficient than the X1 one, because it charges faster and can handle a complete cleaning of approximately 1,500 square feet in one charge. Additionally, it comes with a larger, more durable dustbin to hold more debris, making it easier to empty it when needed.

The X2 Omni also has a more intuitive voice assistant and an app that is functional even when you're not at home. It also comes with more mopping modes and an intelligent routing feature which allows it to clean specific rooms or areas of your home instead of just following a specific route.

The Omni Omni has the top mopping performance of any robot we've tested because of its rotating mop pads that remove tough stains and a motor that creates plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming performance is excellent, and it increases suction when it detects a carpet to ensure a thorough cleaning. It is equipped with a large rechargeable battery that can last up to one week. The mopping mode of the dyson robot vacuum cleaner is also extremely effective.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a top-quality model that has a range of features that aren't typically found on robots of this price. It is able to build detailed floor maps, identify various flooring types and is one of the few robots that automatically wash and dry its mop pads. These features are nice but they also push the L10s into the class of luxury. This could make it more expensive than what homeowners want.

The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaner. It is slim and tall, with a white finish that is complemented by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine is dominated by a large bumper that helps protect the vacuum and furniture from damage while moving around the house. Sensors are concealed behind the front pane, which help the L10s Ultra navigate around tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top of the vacuum there is a single button that serves as an on/off switch. The button will activate the vacuum. If you click it again, it will turn it off and send it to its base station. The circular menu located in the middle of the control panel lets users to select cleaning options, schedules and preferences. The left and right buttons beneath the screen will open up the app's settings menu where you can alter how the L10s Ultra integrates with your home.

Like the iRobot Roomba S9+ and Roborock Q Revo, the L10s Ultra uses a combination of LIDAR and camera-based navigation technologies to map out your home. This creates a detailed floor plan that helps the robot vacuum and mop with ease and avoid getting stuck in cluttered areas. The LIDAR also assists the robot vacuum detect and avoid obstacles which is a great feature for households with children or pets.

The L10s Ultra offers solid vacuuming performance which clears 98.4% of debris from our test on the hard floor and getting rid of all but the most stubborn juice stains. Its mops are efficient, taking away 98.4 percent of debris from our tile, wood, and carpet tests. It was not as effective in removing sand from our hard flooring or quaker oats off the carpet.
