The new Bose Sport Earbuds Truly Wireless come with a slimmer, more sleek design than the QuietComfort buds and a better microphone to make calls. They are also sweat-proof, and come with a charging bag.

Active Noise Cancellation

Bose QuietComfort headphones are known for their excellent noise cancellation. However Bose also offers an array of premium headphones that don't require or provide this feature. Its products typically occupy a premium price point and use premium materials, but they're also lightweight, sweat-resistant and comfortable enough to last for long listening sessions.

The flagship 700s are a fantastic example of this. They feature an upgraded eight-microphone system (six for cancelling sound, two for picking up voices) and 11 customizable ANC modes that let you hear the world around you or block it completely. They also have a "Conversation Mode" button that lets you temporarily pause your music to place a call or make a brief announcement.

Bose TruSleeve is another excellent feature. It's a removable cover that wraps around your neck and sits on top of your ear to reduce noise while you are out and out and about. It's available for all QuietComfort products and can be customized with the app to suit your lifestyle and ear.

Comparing the 700s to our top choice, Sony WH1000XM5, they offer an improved microphone for phone calls. This makes them a great option for those who frequently make calls and need to be heard clearly on the go.

The headphones can be connected to your mobile device via Bluetooth 4.2 and Bose's proprietary A2DP protocol. They also support aptX Adaptive, aptX HD and are perfect for audiophiles who have sources that support higher-quality wireless codes. Bose also includes a 2.5 millimeter to 3.5 millimeter cable for wired audio, and they're optimized for Google Assistant and Alexa. The headphones are equipped with a battery that can last for as long as 20 hours, and they'll provide fast, easy charging from a USB-C port located on the right earcup.

Sound Quality

The headphones are light and designed to be worn for long periods of time. They feature soft cushions which are comfortable to wear. The sound is vibrant and bright with an impressive bass response that's well-controlled. The treble isn't as crisp as the top-rated models such as the Sony WH1000XM4 and Jabra Elite 85H, but still adequate for most music genres.

The Bose Connect and Bose Music apps let you alter the audio settings and alter the EQ. They come with a fantastic microphone for hands-free calls, and a voice assistant that does a great job of dissociating ambient noise from your speech when you are answering questions. Bose Connect apps and Bose Music allow you to adjust the audio settings and even modify EQ. However, headphones beats we've noticed the Bose voice that informs you of things like battery status and whether you're connected is somewhat robotic, in contrast to the more natural voices of the Sony and Jabra models.

Comfort

Comfort is one of Bose's strong suits, regardless of whether you're listening to an over - or on-ear headphone. The company's headphones are usually exquisitely padded without being tight on the head, and they feature a a well-balanced sound quality that allows them to be used with all genres. The headphones also have a very neutral midrange response, which means that voices reproduce well. The only downside is that they don't support the most recent Bluetooth codecs, such as aptX Adaptive or LDAC which allows lossless playback.

The Bose Sport Earbuds have a slimmer, more elegant design than the QuietComfort Earbuds that are the brand's flagship product. They are great for working out and running. They have a five hours of battery duration, which is plenty for most workout sessions. The buds feature an inbuilt microphone and are water resistant. You can control the buds with the remote that comes with them or the companion app. The app allows you to change settings for ANC and Bose's Aware Mode.

Controls

In contrast to the majority of Bose headphones The 700s don't feature physical controls on their ear cups. Instead there's an electronic touch panel on the front half of the right earcup that can detect swipes and finger taps. Tap twice to play or pause, swipe up to raise the volume, down to lower it, and headphones Beats then forward to skip tracks. A single-tap answers calls, and a double tap rejects an any call that comes in.

The headset also lets users to switch on the mode known as "aware," which enables some passthrough of your surroundings. This feature is beneficial for people who need to be aware of the surroundings when listening to music or making calls.

Another feature on the 700s is a motion detector which shuts down your headphones after a period of inactivity. This is a great feature for those who get easily distracted or forget to turn off their headphones Beats. You can alter the Auto-Off setting on your Bose 700 headphones in the Bose Connect app.

The app is used to customize the headphones' features, such as the settings for audio, noise cancelling levels, and languages for voice prompts. This is also where you can get updates for your Bose headphones. The app might require you to share personal information but this is to be expected. It's also where you'll set your Bluetooth connection preferences, and also features a an excellent battery reading feature that will let you know how much battery is remaining in your headphones. Design

Bose headphones are great for mobile use. The majority of models, both on and over the ear, have ample padding that provides an ideal fit. They are also light and portable making them a great option for travel. Bose's wireless headphones don't block out as much background noise as their competitors.
