Goethe-Zertifikat A1 (Start German 1) Exam Schedule

The official list below shows time periods that are reserved and not confirmed exams. It is important to confirm with your teacher whether or not the final exam for a course will be held during this time period.

Locations

The Exam Schedule lists the locations in which DEP conducts operator certification exams. Exam pages for each exam are available for additional guidelines, terms and conditions and exam material. Registration

The exam schedule is accessible online and students are encouraged to review it. However, it is important to keep in mind that the final exam schedule can change at any time. Students should therefore consult their instructors for the correct date and time of their exam. Students should also make sure to print the official list and bring it to their exam.

Students must also familiarize themselves with the guidelines and terms of the exam in addition to the schedule. These are on the website for each exam. Students acknowledge that they have read and agreed to the terms and conditions upon registration.

Exam sites make every effort to accommodate students with special requirements. The nature and severity of these needs should be declared on the registration and confirmed by a medical attestation. Additionally the exam sites must respect and maintain confidentiality.

You will have to pay a fee for the examination if you wish to receive the Goethe-Zertifikat (start German 1) after you have completed your Elan Academy studies. This is in addition to the cost of the course.

Practice tests let you get an understanding of the style of the questions, their wording, and the difficulty of the questions on the test. They let you assess your level, discover areas of knowledge that aren't covered and increase your chances of passing the exam.

Please be aware that the exam fee is not refundable. Exam results can only by electronically sent, not via phone.
