The Q Revo is a good option for those looking for a mid-range mop and robot vacuum. It's got a fantastic mopping performance but lacks some of the features of its more expensive counterpart.

During tests it was able to remove pet hair and dry oats out of carpets with a medium-pile. It doesn't use LIDAR, however, as other models do to identify your home.

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the top-rated robot vacuums. It is loaded with features and impressive cleaning power, including an area for dirt that is integrated into the charging base. This robot can also learn your cleaning habits and suggest automated schedules for a truly hands-free experience.

The iRobot Home App guides you through the setup process. Once everything is connected, you can begin the automatic cleaning functions at the touch of the button. You can select a general clean, which prioritizes the removal of larger pieces of debris like rice and cereal. You can also opt for two thorough mappings to ensure that the entire home is completely cleaned.

This robot vacuum performs well on floors that are unfinished and carpets with a low pile. It can pick up pet hair and also suck large objects up. It doesn't lose suction as fast as some other black friday robot vacuum deals vacuums. It's not the best time with plush or high-pile carpet, but iRobot says it will improve with the next models.

The S9+ is a new design from iRobot that concentrates on enhancing edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt an open-fronted, flat-fronted design, which it hopes will allow it to hug walls and furniture. It's a nice improvement over the traditional hockey puck shape of robovacs, but we found it to be marginally better than circular models.

The iRobot Home app lets you control the robot and schedule cleaning times, as well as create virtual boundary markers, so that it can recognize areas that require more attention.

The Q Revo is unique in that it operates almost autonomously, with little user involvement. The robo-vac comes with a multi-function dock that can automatically transfer physical trash into the bin hidden from view and cleans and drys the mop pads and refills its clean water tank. The app is good at notifying you when something requires attention, like the water tank being empty or a scheduled cleaning session being cancelled due to a full dust bin.

You can also create and combine actual rooms to alter how the Q Revo manages your home. That's a handy feature for those who have multiple areas of your home with different flooring materials or if there's some clutter that must be cleaned out regularly, such as clothes, toys, and books. The robo-vac was also one of the top performers in my test, picking up debris on both carpets as well as hardwood floors with the first pass. It can even vacuum up wet spills. I recommend drying the area with a towel prior to sending it to.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd want from a top-quality robot vacuum and mop and more. It has an omni-rotating mop as well as a powerful vacuum that can clean carpets and hard floors. It is similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+. It also has an auto-cleaning base station that automatically empties and washes the mop pads, keeping them germ-free and ready for use again. The X2 Omni is the top robot at mopping. Its rotating mop pads scrub away tough stains, and its motor creates lots of downward pressure. The vacuuming capabilities are also excellent, and it increases suction when it senses carpets to ensure thorough cleaning. These are nice features, but they also make the L10s more of a luxury category. This could make it more expensive than what homeowners would need.

Its mops also do a great job and remove 98.4% debris from our carpet, tile, and wood tests. However, it wasn't quite as efficient in dealing with sand on the hard floor and quaker oats on the carpet.
