The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is an excellent choice if you are looking for a robot vacuum and mop that is priced in the middle. It provides a fantastic mopping experience, but doesn't have the features that make up its more expensive sibling.

In tests, it was able to take on dry oats and dust on carpets of medium pile as well as pet hair on hard floors. It does not use LIDAR however, like cheaper models do to identify your home.

Roomba s9+ from iRobot

The iRobot Roomba S9+ robot vacuum is among the top-rated robots. It has impressive cleaning power and robot Vacuum mops a variety of features that include a self-emptying dirt compartment built into its charging base. This robot can learn your cleaning habits, and recommend automatic schedules that will give you an effortless cleaning experience.

The iRobot Home App guides you through the setup process. Once the system is in place it can begin cleaning automatically with just one button. You can opt for a general clean that prioritizes getting rid of larger pieces of debris such as rice and cereal or go for two detailed maps of your home to ensure your entire home has a clean and tidy appearance.

This robot vac performs well on floors that are unfinished and carpets with low pile. It sucks up large items and does not lose suction as fast as some other models, and it can even remove pet hair without much difficulty. It has a difficult time with plush or high-pile carpet, however iRobot claims it will improve with future models.

The S9+ is a new design by iRobot that is focused on improving corner and edge cleaning. It's the first Roomba that has flat-fronted D-shaped designs. The company hopes that this will allow it to fit into furniture and walls. It's an improvement over the hockey puck-shaped robovacs that are standard however we found it to be just marginally better than circular models.

iRobot also claims that the S9+ has a superior filter system that prevents tiny dust particles and Robot vacuum mops allergens from circulating in your home. It's a nice claim however, we're not convinced it's enough to justify the price cost.

Its smart navigation system utilizes sensors to remember the layout of your home and vSLAM to map the interior of your home. It then cleans your entire house efficiently by avoiding obstacles like stairs and other obstacles. The iRobot Home app lets you manage the robot and plan cleaning times, and create virtual boundary markers, so that it is aware of areas that need extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

When it comes to robots that combine mopping and vacuuming and mopping, the Roborock Q revo is a standout. Its vacuum settings are as effective as those on higher-end models and its mopping feature is superior, as its spinning pads do a much more impressive job of scrubbing floors than a stationary vibration pad.

The only drawback is that it doesn't have an additional rubber brush for deeper cleaning, but that's an acceptable cost to pay if are looking for one of the top robots on the market. The robo-vac's dust tank is larger than many of its competitors and it takes only two or three cycles to fill it up, even with the highest dirt level.

In terms of the mopping system, I was impressed by its ability to scrub hard dirt off my floors. Its two mopping modes at the lowest that are less abrasive than the high-powered ones, create minimal noise, allowing you to work or watch TV without interruption. It will gently bump into furniture or walls and move on whenever it comes across one.

What really distinguishes the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to operate almost completely on its own, with no need for human intervention. The robo-vac features a multi-function dock that automatically transfers physical trash to the bin hidden in the background, as well as washes and dry mop pads and replenishes its clean water tank. The app is adept at alerting you when something needs attention, like the clean water tank running low or a scheduled vacuuming session that was cancelled because of a full dust bin.

The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd expect from a top-quality robot vacuum and mop combo and more. It has a rotating mop and a powerful vacuum that can clean carpets as well as hard floors. It's similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+. It also comes with a self cleaning vacuum-cleaning station that automatically cleans and empty the mop pads to keep them clean and ready for reuse. It also comes with a brand new sensor system that can better detects obstacles, granting it the ability to avoid falling over furniture and other objects.

The biggest improvement over the ECOVACS Deebot X1 is that it has a sleeker, more modern design due to Danish firm Jacob Jensen Design (best known for its Bang & Olufsen products). The robot is still large--it has a height of more than two feet both height and depth, and weighs nearly four pounds. However the robot as well as its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot j7.

The X2 Omni is the most effective mopping performance of any robot we've tested due to its mop pads that rotate to remove tough stains and a motor that generates plenty of downward pressure. The vacuuming capabilities are also top-notch, and it boosts suction when it senses carpets to ensure thorough cleaning. It is equipped with a large rechargeable battery that lasts up to one week. The mopping feature of the robot is also extremely effective.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a high-end model that comes with a variety of features that aren't typically found on robots of this price. It can create detailed floor maps and detect different types of flooring. It's also one of the only robots that automatically clean and dry its mop pad. While these features are useful, they also push the L10s Ultra into the luxury category which could make it somewhat more expensive than the average homeowner need.

The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaning machine. It is tall and slim with a white finish accented with silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine features an enormous bumper that shields the furniture and vacuum cleaner while moving around your home. In the pane in the front is a second navigation technology with sensors that aid the L10s Ultra navigate tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top of the screen, you'll find one button that is a switch for on and off. The button will activate the vacuum. Clicking it again will shut it off and send it to its base station. The control panel includes the circular menu which lets you select cleaning modes or schedules, as well as preferences. The left and right buttons below the screen will bring up the settings menu of the app where you can tweak how the L10s Ultra interacts with your home.

The L10s Ultra, like the iRobot Roomba S9+ or Roborock Q Revo uses a combination LIDAR and cameras-based navigation technology to map your home. The mops also work well, removing 98.4 percent of debris from our carpet, tile and wood tests. It wasn't as effective in removing sand from the hard floor or quaker oats from the carpet.
