This vacuum cleaner is slower than some others, but it is able to reach most corners and crevices. It has a large dustbin which is ideal for reducing the frequency which you need to empty it. It is compatible with digital mapping and virtual barriers which lets you make the robot avoid certain areas or mop & vacuum in one to stop cleaning altogether to avoid it from becoming stuck.

Although it's not the top model in its price range but it's far superior to other options. The IQ's app comes with advanced mapping and automation capabilities but it's missing no-go zones which are included on iRobot models. Its smart-pathing navigation system provides greater maneuverability, and its high-pile carpet mode cleans well, though it is prone to get caught up in rug tassels. Its iHome speaker lets you operate the robot by voice commands.

During our tests, we found that the IQ was able to handle pet hair effectively. It was able to eliminate the majority of hair on floors that were unfinished, and a fair amount of rug with a medium pile. It was less efficient with shag carpets, as it had a hard time reaching dirt and dust embedded within the fibers. It was capable of maneuvering chair legs, tight spaces, and the wooden base of an IKEA step stool. It was slower on bare flooring, mop & vacuum in one but it recovered speed and performed better than other robots we test.

The IQ is a more suitable choice for the majority of users than the iRobot Roomba. It has a larger dustbin, a longer battery life and is better at navigating around obstacles. It comes with mopping tools that can remove sticky debris. On the other side the iRobot feels better-built and has fewer components that require maintenance or replacement and incurs lower costs for recurring maintenance and can even create virtual no-go zones with its companion app. It can continue cleaning the point it started, even if the battery runs out before it's finished. The iRobot can also be controlled via voice commands, which is an advantage for many users.

Eufy 11S

The eufy RoboVac 11S robot vacuum isn't among the most advanced models, but it provides excellent cleaning power for an affordable price. It's a budget-friendly option for buyers who don't need a complicated mapping system or app to control the device. This robot will last for over an hour. It comes with the remote control, cleaning tool and AC power adapter.

The 11S is slim, elegant and has a tempered glass upper deck that appears like polished aluminum. It's a nice stylistic different from Roomba, Samsung, and Neato designs that are more utilitarian and industrial.

In our tests, the eufy11S was very effective in removing large particles and fine dust on hard floors. However, it was unable to give high and medium pile carpets a thorough clean. It is also prone to bump into furniture and people in its path however, it is able to detect obstacles with sensors. It stops and emits a loud sound when it encounters an obstruction. Then, you can manually guide the device around the obstacle and return it to working.

The BoostIQ mode is another fantastic feature of the Eufy11S. It allows you to configure the robot to automatically adjust suction strength based upon the type of floor and the amount of mess. It's also easy to use the remote to direct the 11S where you'd like it to move.

If you don't have much furniture in the space where you're looking to vacuum Single Room Mode is an excellent alternative. The eufy will spend 30 minutes cleaning the area it's assigned to.
