Goethe-Zertifikat A1 (Start German 1) Exam Schedule

The official list below outlines reserved time periods, not confirmed exams. Check with your instructor whether or not the final exam for a course will be scheduled during this time.

Locations

The Exam Schedule lists locations where DEP conducts operator certification exams. Check out the exam pages for additional information regarding exam content, exam terms and conditions, and additional guidelines. If you require special accommodations due to chronic disease, visual or hearing impairment or other disabilities make contact with the exam center and provide a detailed documentation when registering.

The Faculty Dashboard in Workday includes an option to "View My Teaching Schedule", which allows faculty to discover their exam schedules. The Registrar's Office also has a list of exam times for courses that are required to have an exam by NYSED regulations. Final exams for classes that are held in the evenings are scheduled for the regular class meeting times of the final examination weeks.

Registration

Students are encouraged to consult the exam schedule online. However it is important to note that the exam schedule could change at any time. This is why students should consult with their instructors to make sure they have the correct date and time for their test. Students should also make sure to print the official list and bring it with them to their exam.

Students must also familiarize themselves with the guidelines and terms of the exam in addition to the schedule. They are available on the individual exam pages. Students acknowledge that they have read and accepted the conditions and terms of registration.

Exam locations try their best to accommodate those who have special needs. The nature and extent of these requirements should be noted on the registration and verified by a doctor's attestation. The locations of the exam must adhere to confidentiality.

If a student is scheduled to take three exams on the same day, they should contact their instructor or department to schedule a make-up test. While it is possible to take three tests in one day, it could cause a high stress level and affect the quality of the test. Additionally, the professor might not be able offer a makeup exam on another day.

Before taking the exam Students must prepare for the exam by studying their course material and practice their German skills. The exam is a test on paper that assesses the ability to speak, read, and write in German. The examination results are reported on a scale of prawo jazdy kat. a1 procedura uzyskania prawa jazdy a1 kat. a1 (king-Wifi.win) to C2. Students who pass the exam are awarded a Goethe-Zertifikat. The certificate certifies that the student has achieved the level of A1 in their language. This level corresponds with the first level of the six-level scale of competency that is outlined in the Common European Framework of Reference for Foreign Languages. The exam is free of cost. Students must bring a valid government issued ID to the test. Those without a valid photo identification will be disqualified.

Fees

If you have completed your studies at Elan Academy and wish to obtain an Goethe-Zertifikat zasady kategorii a1 (start German 1), you'll need to pay the exam fee. This is in addition to the course fees.

Practice assessments allow you to get familiar with the format of the questions, their wording, and the difficulty of the questions on the test. They let you assess your proficiency, identify gaps in knowledge and improve your chances of passing the test.

Please note that the examination fee isn't refundable. Exam results can only by emailed and not via telephone.
