The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is an excellent choice if you're looking for a mid-priced mop and robot vacuum. It's got a fantastic mopping capabilities, but is lacking some of the advanced features that are found in its more expensive counterpart.

In the course of testing, it was able to handle dust and dry oats on medium-pile carpet as well as pet hair on hard floors. It doesn't use LIDAR, however, as other models do, to map your home.

1. IRobot Roomba S9+

The iRobot Roomba S9+ robot vacuum is one of the most highly-rated robots. It has a lot of features and incredible cleaning power, including a dirt compartment that is built into the charging base. The robot will learn your habits of cleaning, and suggest automatic schedules that will give you a truly hands-free cleaning experience.

The iRobot Home App guides you through the process of setting up. Once everything is connected, you can begin the automatic cleaning functions at the click of a button. You can select an overall clean that emphasizes the removal of large debris such as rice and cereal or go for two detailed maps of your area to ensure that your home is properly arranged.

This vacuum works well both on bare floors and carpets with a low pile. It can take in large objects and doesn't lose suction as quickly as some others do, and it can even remove pet hair without much difficulty. It's a challenge with plush or high-pile carpets, but iRobot promises that the next models will be more efficient.

The S9+ features a new design from iRobot, which is focused on improving edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt a flat-fronted D-shaped design, which it hopes will allow it to fit into furniture and walls. It's a great improvement over the traditional hockey puck shape of most robovacs, though we discovered it to be only marginally better than circular models.

iRobot claims that the S9+ also has an advanced filtration system which blocks microscopic particles and allergens recirculating within your home. We think this is a nice statement however, it's not enough to justify a higher price.

Its intelligent navigation system makes use of sensors that keep track of your home's layout, and vSLAM technology to map your interior. It then cleans your entire house efficiently by avoiding obstacles such as stairs and other obstacles. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and also set virtual boundaries so that the robot can determine the areas that require attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

Roborock Q Revo is a robot that combines vacuuming and mopping. Its vacuum settings are as efficient as those found on higher-end models and its mopping system is superior, as its spinning pads do a better job of scrubbing your floors than a stationary vibrating pad.

The only downside is that it does not have a second rubber brush to provide more thorough cleaning, but that's an acceptable cost to pay for if you want one of the best robots available. The dust tank of the robo-vac is bigger than most of its competitors. Filling it takes just two or three times, even when you have maximum dirt.

For the mopping device, I was awestruck with its ability to scrub the tough dirt off my floors. The two lowest mopping settings which are less powerful than high-powered settings, produce minimal noise, meaning you can work or even watch television without being distracted. It will gently hit a wall or furniture and then move on whenever it comes across one.

The Q Revo is unique in that it runs almost entirely on its own, requiring only minimal user involvement. The robo-vac comes with a multi-function dock that can automatically transfer physical garbage into the hidden bin, as well as washes and drys the mop pads, and refills its clean water tank. The app is good at notifying you when something needs attention, such as the water tank being empty or a scheduled vacuuming session that was cancelled because of a full dust bin.

You can also create and combine actual rooms to alter how the Q Revo manages your home. This feature is useful if you have different flooring in different areas of your house or if you need to regularly remove clutter, such as clothes, toys and books. The robot vacuum was also among the best performers in my tests, picking up debris on carpets and hardwood floors with the first go. It is able to vacuum up wet spills. I suggest drying the area with a towel prior to sending it to.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni is a premium robot mop and vacuum that has all the features you could need. It comes with the ability to rotate mops and a powerful vacuum that can clean carpets and hard floors. It is similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+. It also comes with an auto-cleaning station that automatically washes and empties the mop pads to keep them clean and ready for reuse. It also has a new sensor system that better recognizes obstacles, giving it the ability to prevent falling over furniture and other objects.

The most significant improvement over the ECOVACS The X1 Deebot is the modern, sleeker design. This is thanks to the Danish company Jacob Jensen Design, best known for their Bang & Olufsen product line. The robot is still big. It has a height of more than two feet height and depth and weighs almost four pounds. However the robot as well as its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot j7.

This version is more efficient than the X1 as it charges faster and can clean 1,500 square feet in a single charge. It also comes with a larger and more durable dustbin that can hold more debris. This makes it easier to empty.

Lastly, the X2 Omni has a more user-friendly app and voice assistant that operates offline, allowing you to manage it even when away from home. It also has additional mopping modes as well as a smart routing feature that allows you to clean specific rooms or areas of your house instead of just following a specific route.

The Omni X2 Omni has the best mopping performance of any robot we've tested thanks to its rotating mop pads that clean tough stains away and a motor that generates plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming performance is outstanding as well, and it boosts suction when it senses carpets to ensure that it does the job well. It also has a large battery that can last for several weeks between charges and its mopping mode is as powerful as anything we've seen in an ordinary robot.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a top-quality mop and vacuum narwal robot mop and vacuum that comes with a host of convenience features you don't often see on robots in this price. It can create detailed floor maps and detect different types of flooring. It's also one of the only robots that automatically clean and dry its mop pad. These features are nice but they also push the L10s into the luxury category. This might make it more expensive than what homeowners would need.

The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaner. It is slim and tall and has a white-colored finish that is complemented by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine is dominated by a huge bumper that helps protect furniture and the vacuum from damage while moving around the house. Behind the pane at the front is a second navigation technology that is comprised of sensors that help the L10s Ultra maneuver tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top, you'll find one button that acts as an on/off switch. This button will activate the vacuum. Clicking it again will turn it off and send it to its base station. The circular menu in the center of the control panel lets you to select cleaning modes or schedules, as well as preferences. The left and right buttons beneath the screen will open the settings menu of the app where you can modify the way that the L10s Ultra integrates with your home.

Its mops also perform well in removing 98.4% debris from our tile, carpet, and wood tests. It was not as effective in removing sand from the hard floor or quaker oatmeal from the carpet.
